15 years ago I wanted to start a messy website, but, I had no studio and lived in shared rented accommodation. We could get girls, but where would we shoot? I had seen the hotel room thing used over and over again, besides which, I didn't have the money to rent hotel rooms or buy lights (which were more expensive back then). I had to think outside the box.
So, I decided to use the great outdoors for our shoots and searched out as many local locations as I could. Using daylight as our lighting and a cheap digital camera. I think we managed some amazing results from this with very, very limited resources.
So our start did not fit the meme. Below were some of our earliest shoots from 2004, how mostwam started.

This is precisely why your work is loved, and also why it stands out. You and Clix easily have the most identifiable work of anyone I know here. It sets you both apart and is exactly why you're so good. You guys didn't do the dime a dozen easily forgettable stuff everyone else did.

Hey I recognise that lol. Ok it is a Nikon in our case and some other cheap lights. And we shoot most at home but it works... It makes money and we gradually upgrade our gear .
