So we are into the 6th month and Flaming June. However, for most in the UK, the flaming hot weather came a week early (always a shock coming early ).
Hopefully the sunny weather will return, then we can get back to moaning about how we can't cope with the heat, the roads, train tracks are melting and we are not geared up for this sort of hotness (we don't do rain, wind or snow much better either.)
But anyway I digress, a new month which means another Splosh Calendar month. This month we have the delightful Davina, nicely coated in thick stodgy porridge.
Davina was a super Splosh model, that usually played a bit of stooge, but was also know for doing messy newsreader scenes, and over her time with Splosh was covered in a mass (mess) array of sloppy substances. Custard, jam, paint, porridge, syrup, treacle, mud, Davina copped the lot. As well as Splosh, Davina appeared with other messy groups, most notably Crazygirls.
A true splosh starlet, so enjoy the porridge delights of Davina, we definitely won't be moaning about her.

Dead gorgeous and could certainly cop a lot of slop easily.
Her getting that final mud & treacle deluge in the Hot Coffee & Sticky Buns video is one of my all time favs.

Me too! "Davina reads the news" was a rare (the only) collaboration between Shipton & Cosgrove on sticky buns.
Fun fact: According to Bill (in the promo post on the Splosh! download site), Davina had vetoed the black treacle being poured over her head. She changed her mind, however, once in the spirit of things, but the cameraman had already stopped the camera. He managed to get the tape heads engaged again only in time to capture the last half of the pour. That's why it's over the credits and not in the scene.
