Seeing this product, I immediately thought i could use it as a kind of over-head gunge tank, so i ordered one and it arrived today.

I mixed up a bucket of natrosol and suspended the bowl above my bath using string (tied to its handles). I removed the plug (which you need to twist and to release the contents and would have been impossible to if i was sat beneath it and used some waterproof duct tape act as a stopper). I filled the bowl with gunge (it held almost the entire bucket load).

I got underneath, tore the tape off and got slimed VERY slowly. Unfortunately, i didn't take into consideration that the size of the hole (which is about that of a 2p coin) vs the thickness of my gunge (and i like it very thick).

So next time, i'll be using a runnier consistency, but i can't wait to use it again!

It's made from a very strong, hard plastic - almost like resin. Really good product and is amazing for home gunge tank fun!

Interesting product but if you are putting tape on the bottom to stop/release the slime then couldn't you use any bucket with a hole drilled at the bottom? You could us a much large bucket and drill a large hole and then use super strong tape like this as a stopper: (best infomercial ever! the guys cuts a coat in half then tape it back together. And since they did it on TV you know it's real!)

If the tape's that strong, how do you take it off to release the gunge?

I did a very similar thing with a bucket, a spade bit, a wine stopper and some rope (which I also used to keep my hands restrained, while being able to pull the plug out!)

Now wondering if I could 3D print some kind of release mechanism for gunge from a bucket or tub? The spout could be designed to deliver the gunge over the right area and flow, and only a single moving part would be needed. If it got clogged up it would take pennies' worth of plastic to print another one, way cheaper than industrial valves.
