I asked a chatbot to tell us how to organize a pie fight. I got a laugh at the answer:
"Pie fights can be a fun and amusing activity, but it's important to keep in mind that they can also be messy and potentially dangerous if not properly organized and carried out. Here are some tips for organizing a pie fight:
Choose a suitable location: You'll want to find a place that is large enough to accommodate the number of people participating, and where the mess can be easily cleaned up. Outdoors is generally the best option.
Invite only willing participants: It's important that everyone who participates in the pie fight is comfortable with the activity and has consented to getting hit with a pie. Make sure to clearly communicate the nature of the event and that it is entirely optional to participate.
Use appropriate pie-throwing techniques: To minimize the risk of injury, make sure to throw the pies gently and avoid aiming for someone's face or head. It's also a good idea to use pie tins with handles to make throwing them easier and safer.
Have plenty of supplies on hand: Make sure you have enough pies (or other suitable substitutes, like whipped cream) for everyone to have a good time, as well as towels, water, and any other supplies you might need to clean up afterwards.
Establish clear rules: To ensure the safety of everyone involved, it's important to establish some ground rules for the pie fight. For example, you might want to prohibit the use of hard objects (like rocks or sticks) in the pies, or prohibit aiming for someone's face or head.
Supervise the activity: It's a good idea to have an adult present to supervise the pie fight and make sure that it doesn't get out of hand. This will help to ensure that everyone stays safe and has a good time."
Pie Hound I believe rigged a larger pie tin with a wire inserted into holes in the bottom to make a handle and would take a pre made pie and slide it into the tin and was able to throw the pie itself and not the tin at his targets. If you go to his YouTube page and watch his videos you can see how it works.
Are you using ChatGPT? It keeps telling me it can't condone such activities when I ask... But I can go to the playground and ask it to write a short play or story about a pie fight or something.
