We just got in what will most likely be our last decent sized sploshing of the year. The days are getting shorter and cooler where we live, and soon winter will be here. We didn't get in as many sploshings as we would have liked this year due to lack of free time and money, but we did have some fun 
As I was cleaning up and putting stuff away I got to thinking about the fact that I have been shooting sploshing scenes for 30 years now! I have been into this stuff since I was a kid (hence my excessive use of the "I don't know" set up
). I started shooting messes when I got my first real girlfriend in highschool. This was back in the mid 90's so the Internet as we know it didn't exist. As far as I knew, I was the only one into this stuff! My highschool girlfriend wasn't into sploshing in a sexual way, but she was game to do it for my enjoyment Back in those days, the messes were smaller and clean up was of the utmost importance so her parents wouldn't find out
Over the years I have dated all extremes of women, from ones that wanted nothing to do with sploshing, to those that were willing to do it occasionally, to the rare few that were actually into it. I've been luck enough to have had 3 in that last category. The old timers here may remember Toni and Janet; and now there is Andi!
As I stare at the mess that is our outdoor sploshing area, I must say that the clean up seems to get worse the older I get. Definitely my least favorite part! I don't think you could do this long term if you weren't into it yourself. Probably why a lot of new faces come and go here. If all you want is money, there are much easier fetishes to cater to In fact, I don't think there is much money to be made in this if you are doing it right. This sploshing we just did was a dozen pies and 2 buckets of slime. Just using rough numbers, each pie was about $5 to make and the buckets of slime were about $11 each so we spent $80+ just on messy supplies. Then add in the cost of the outfit and I'm sure we are well over $100 
No idea what normal amateur sales are, but that would definitely eat into any profits. And we don't have to worry about modelling fees! Of course my cheap ass will be washing these old "disposable" pie pans for the umpteenth time to get another sploshing out of them and save a few bucks
This is a labor of love, though. And despite my bitching about the clean up, I know I am lucky to have had the opportunity to make a mess. I have spent many years single (or worse in my mind, with a partner unwilling to participate), so I know what that feels like. That is the reason I am happy to share my adventures when I do have a willing partner
I look forward to next summer and the potential sploshings that could happen. In the meantime, I can't help but smile looking at this little patch of land where grass will probably never grow again just thinking about all the fun we have had there

Being a WAM producer is definitely quite the task. I agree that you absolutely almost 100% of the time need to have the fetish in some way yourself to want to do this.
WAM is our 'part time job' in addition to both of our full time jobs. While we've had our store for going on 5 years, I've been WAMMING The Wife since 2012 when we first started dating. And man, after 12 years of aging, I definitely hear you on clean up. And prep too honestly.

My body felt this when I read it. The last session I did was not fun clean up and I had it fucking easy. It has definitely become the biggest reason I do not have messy sessions as much as I would like or as much as my girlfriend would like. I hate typing this, but I have the thoughts of is the clean up worth it. I have never had those thoughts before with WAM. I think back on the different sessions I have had and try to determine if things still feel the same. Are the orgasms any different. Do I spend time in the moment or do the thoughts of cleaning up creep in while I am having sessions. Or am I just being a fucking lazy whiner about things. I will own there is some of that there. You are not alone in those feelings about clean up getting worse.
I'd say the preparation is maybe even worse than the cleanup. There have been more than a few occasions when I've had all the supplies ready for a session, a fun scenario planned out, and then the wife and I have started making out and I've ended up thinking "Oh, fuck it, I can't be bothered waiting to set all that up..." Maybe the key is to have a "red room of pain" equivalent all set up and ready to go when the mood strikes, but that'll at least have to wait until the kids have left home!
Agree with so much here - I always tell myself "never again" as I'm scrubbing the little notch around the top of a bucket trying to reach that stubborn morsel of brownie batter. Then a few months later, I'm back to salivating at the grocery store and assembling materials for the next session. Disposable has definitely been a great way to go when I can, but also sometimes simplifying the scene and doing less still turns out to be a great session with less prep. However, telling myself "keep it simple" is also something forgotten once the urge for "just one more box of cake mix" overrides everything else.

To JD & Andi, your hard work is very much appreciated here and is easily relatable. In December 2021, had it not been for April's bodybuilder fiance, I'd have had my work cut out for me taking out the trash bags after those shoots. The setup, prep, and clean up is no joke. You're 100% right about the labor of love.

Thanks to all that replied Glad I am not the only one that contemplates their life choices as they clean up the mess The prep work definitely takes some effort as well, but I think I am too jazzed up with energy and anticipation at the time to let it get to me!
