Probably a topic that's been tossed around a lot on this forum, but we have recently been approached about including accessories like wristwatches/smart watches in scenes. It seems pretty niche, but also fun. So, our question is what kind of accessories would some of you like to see in videos? Curious to see what some of your responses will be.
The plan is to use a wristwatch in a video we are tentatively set to make tonight. Give us your thoughts and ideas!

Oh, forgot to mention we're interested in costume/wardrobe preferences and ideas as well! Thanks!
We have an idea for a costume themed mess we think people will love, but as of right now it's just on the drawing board. Going to take time and money to get it right.
I've always felt that WAM attire should be everything you might see someone wearing when they are making their best effort in a situation where they are afforded social norms of respect and protection
My early work with my wife was always about her dressing to the nines as if to go out and that would include jewellery and shoes etc. It's therefore more 'shocking' and exciting when it's trashed because it defies every norm and appropriate piece of behaviour.

I love it when a woman's entire outfit, accessories and all, are destroyed by mess. They don't even have to be wearing them (...though I'd have loved to see these handbags tipped over the woman after their belongings had been ruined)
This might be tangentially related, but I like seeing polished, well executed hairstyles, specifically updos, before and after the mess. So think accessories like hair donuts and hair sticks, maybe fresh flowers in addition to what's been mentioned.

What he said!
You can usually tell when the clothes and extras are contrived to create an effect, but are not the models normal clothes, choices, or the fit is poor, or that they are that old and worn that they have lost their luster etc always use your real clothes the risk of spoiling them creates the excitement.
I love it when everything gets destroyed and here is Davina before everything is destroyed with paint and scissors and hammer. All her clothes, watch, necklace, bracelets, wig, shoes, underwear, bag, phone, tablet, purse, money, cards, makeup and spare undies.
Completely agree, Charlotte from mostwam.tv was said to have worn her clothes on many a shoot, they looked superb on her. A complete outfit, should consit of glasses, belts, shoes, handbags, purses, mobile phones, jewelry, watches, smart watch... the list goes on, but knowing everything could get ruined, is just fantastic.
Everyone here is talking about trashing someone posh and sophisticated, and here's me with the first thought in my head being a slutty french maid outfit, perhaps accompanied with some fluffy handcuffs.

I guess I'm a simple man.
Haha, hey that's sexy. We might have to try that out.
I agree with nearly everything others have already said. I do think it is important that whatever the scenario, the person to be on the receiving end should be appropriately dressed - including accessories. Thus a smart skirt suit should certainly be combined with jewellery, heels and handbag, plus possibly hat, gloves and sunglasses. Similarly a French Maid, as suggested, should be wearing an apron and cute headpiece, and possibly carrying a tray of the food with which she will shortly be adorned!
I also believe in 'total trashing' of an outfit. A foam pie in the face with a little falling onto to clothing just isn't enough.
Incidentally I love the photo of the woman getting her handbag filled. As it contains the ultimate in personal items it is an ideal accessory to be destroyed.

Quite like a saucy French maid, with frilly knickers getting destroyed. I'm partial to a cheerleader getting her comeuppance, white knickers, white socks, white trainers, and her pop poms getting completely trashed
Necklace, bracelets, tall black boots to name a few. Those go great with a black dress or tank top with skirt or shorts, my girl commonly does it and looks amazing.
Looking unprepared is a part of the fun, for swimming, shower, or getting slimed/gunged
We were never big on wardrobe but when it was part of the scene we tried to get things like boots, shoes, hats, belts, flower in the hair, etc to look like they belonged together. While not our forte but it was an honest attempt to avoid the "Raiders of the Lost Closet" look. The small bits don't have to cost much and they do make a visual difference.
Personally I think accesories make the full wam scene. I was introduced to gunge tanks by shows like Noel's House Party, where many of the messy situations were pranks on unsuspecting members of the audience...as such they were not dressed for what happened, rather for the evening out, and one assumes the show had the budget to replace anything damaged in those pre- mobile phone years. I appreciate it adds to the cost of scenes from a producers point of view, but to me it makes them seem more spontanious and less planned.

Look at all that hotness!!! Sexy outfits and ladies!
I love to see accessories. I think seeing someone fully dressed and Wammed with jewellery, watches shoes etc. rather than wearing some clothes is so much better. Erik Elsas is great at doing this, his models are always properly dressed with belts, coats etc.

The handbag is the perfect accessory to get messy with or wet. I'd love to see more bags get messy personally.
