I tried using cornflour for this one. First batch I had far too much flour and not enough water so it basically solidified. I used it as the base for the pies, but it was almost like using dried glue, not nearly sloppy enough! The second batch was a lot more watery - better, but I was aiming for somewhere between the two really.
