A Day in the Mud! "Grace passed me the camera then she dives in to wrestle Devlin lol, yeah!"
We headed off down the road and stopped where we thought we saw a swampy area. It was enough for the mud shoot we had planned and was just out of clear sight of the road, even though only 10 ft away. We had to park and change on the road though. Grace took some nice muddy photos and videos of Devlin in a classy dress having fun with mud (oh, and a wine bottle). I got the "mind the wine bottle" task during the muddiest parts, lol. Kicking back on the grassy slope with a bottle of wine, a field of wild strawberries and raspberries, watching a mud photo shoot in the sunshine. Definitely beats that working thing! Some time later, Grace passed me the camera. I thought it was to get a different perspective, but she dives in and starts to wrestle Devlin. lol, yeah, different perspective. I went down to get closer shots and as the ladies were winding up, each gave me a nice hug. Maybe I should not have worn white! We all schludked out to the Jeep to start the clean up. I managed to get behind Devlin and I motioned to Grace to watch out. I picked up Devlin and carried her out into the swamp again, all on film. lol--she slipped half way there and I had to be so careful exactly what I was grabbing at to keep her suspended! After cleaning up, changing and hosing off things, we packed back up and headed home. A great day!
