I haven't seen it yet so I can't speak to the specifics here but $4.99 for this video, if it's even remotely the same quality of the others, is an amazing deal and I encourage everyone to grab this, if nothing else to give positive reinforcement/feedback to Nadia about setting her price point to a more reasonable level.

If you've hesitated in the past due to the price, do yourself a favor and check this one out. Generally, the videos from VN are quite excellent.

Maybe the extra sales can provide the money to afford that really nice mansion. I hope those pesky water restrictions don't get in the way of production.

For others who may choose to purchase this video, a little more information:

This is a 19-minute video in which the first pie meets attractive female face at around the 13:30 mark. If you enjoy watching hot, lingerie-clad women making pudding-and-whipped-topping pies then that may not be an issue for you, but if you typically skip over any intro/setup/exposition/pie-modeling scenes, be aware that this is a five-and-a-half-minute pie video with 13 minutes of pre-roll.

Only one of the ladies -- the blonde one -- gets pied. She is pied hard, repeatedly and with great gusto. If you want to see her get her revenge, then presumably you will need to buy another video.

There is no nudity beyond the participants' initial lack of clothing (unless you count one of the participants mysteriously getting rid of her stockings, which for me is a negative). You'll get plenty of time to enjoy the view while the participants make their pies.

Overall, I can think of many cases in which I've gotten less for $4.99, so this is at least a step in the right direction.

All this time I've been giving away the pie making BTS footage for free, when I could've been charging $4.99 for it!!!

Well spotted Enigamahood. Indeed Nadia Valentine has been very prolific lately, and still keeps the quality of the clips, (and the ladies), high. This latest one is called "Glamour Pies 1" and stars the same two bodacious babes who were in "The Creamy Ballet" (discussed at length here; https://umd.net/forums/new-nadia-valentine-video ) adorable Anastasia:lovestruck: and Gorgeous Goddess Rodea. Nadia outlines the saucy slapstick scenario:

And what scenario do they choose? The "Just stand there and get pied" scenario. Oh my God. Beautiful women, great sticky pies, high production values and NO imagination.

Why oh why go to all that trouble and do nothing with it?

That would be like Disney assembling Harrison Ford, Mark Hamil, Carrie Fischer, etc. for a Star Wars movie and having the plot be them running from stormtroopers for 2 hours and nothing else.

Thanks for the heads up. Good pics but the one VN clip I bought was the same way... And it was ONLY wide angle. Not a single close-up the entire time. And the price was... NOT cheap.

If VN only put 10% as much energy into their videos as Piesub puts into promoting them.... :ohbruther:

Actually, they put lots of energy into their videos, but very little into their scripts. Personally I prefer all wide angle because most producers use that hand held thing and have the cameraman try and catch all the action. Invariably, they miss some good stuff while they are filming the pie mess on the floor or something.

You've NEVER watched one of my videos, have you??

Handheld cameras, like scenes filmed entirely in a shower or with a dirty plastic sheet behind the "target," were borderline acceptable 10 years ago... But not anymore. I suppose people get past those things in YouTube videos (AKA "free videos") but no reason to pay for that.

I shoot the wide angle because I like the option of seeing the model's entire body, not just from her waist up. It's especially nice depending what she's wearing or how active (or clumsy) she is while getting pied. BUT there's no way I'd film an entire scene with ONLY that angle... You simply can't get any great detail from that far away, and I will tell you from years of experience that the majority of the buyers WANT to see closeup detail, especially with pie hits.

What Rich said. It occurred to me when planning my first video, that both a close up and wide angle -- inter-cutting between angles or repeating the scene from both angles (or both) was the only way to capture a messy scene (In the case of splat! TV, I used three cameras and sporadically changed the angles depending upon the action/scene).

But iI would quibble with Rich on only one thing: a GOOD hand held technique (granted, it's not easy) can work effectively (especially on medium close ups, or in scenes that you are trying to make more "spontaneous" )...but you have to know how to do it right, and when. Several of my Eye Candy shorts (with Ivy and Alissa) were done handheld (or partly hand held, partly to achieve a "voyeur" effect).

But it's a small thing and an aesthetic choice.

Piesub: good job of promoting and "defending" your product...but maybe suggest to the producers to shoot with two camera (at least) -- hell, even a smart phone camera captures HD nowadays...so, there's really no excuse. I promise you that -- with the high quality models VN uses (and attention to wardrobe and prop/pie details), adding a close up angle will triple you income over the long run.

note: I originally thought the promoters were just withholding the close ups as a tease (given the convention of two cameras in even amateur shoots)...but apparently (not having purchased one), this is not the case.

Agreed. It strikes me as odd that VN would spend so much money on models (I suspect that high-priced L.A. fetish models are running her $200/hr or more), an additional amount on handmade pies (making your own cream, etc), and then the money to either rent out that mansion or OWN it outright.....

...But they can't spend an extra $300 or so to get a second good HD camera???

Or come up with an original idea. Oh wait. I said that already.
