HUGE topic of discussion back in the "good ol' days" of CM. The girl in the blue dress (forget her name?) got one of the few triple pieings ever, and possibly Top 10 for this show period.
Paloma pie sandwich was good, but she would get pied better in future shows. GREAT pieing for Ana, before she started dodging them.
That's a par-for-the-course Barb pieing.... Hers were always good to fantastic, which is why we put up with her diva BS. These were the days when she WOULD get pied (but no more than once or twice a show, after that she'd either get balloons or somehow turn into Einstein to wreck the guy who wrecked her). And only every second or third show.... More than likely they shot two shows on the same day, so she'd demand to stay 100% clean for the first one, then agree to get messy for the second, and the producers would rig the questions accordingly.

ANYWAY. We bitched about the show then too, not knowing these were the "glory months." Mostly it was a combo of, "Yeah, some great moments, but SO much wasted potential." In hindsight, we had NO IDEA about wasted potential.

I've had all these clips (and every CM pie clip, honestly) in full HD on my Mainstream Clips page for over a year now. Jack Smith AKA ABGamma also has some of them on his YT channel too, I believe. Almost all the shows from the original run were compiled by a variety of users (in varying levels of quality) at one time on YT, but some of them might be gone now. They're all worth checking out if you missed them the first time though. 2015-February 2016 are the magic dates.

As someone who doesn't watch CM, Unsung2008 (the uploader here) was my go-to for these clips and Passa clips as well back in the day. Disappointed that he stopped after a while. I love ABGamma, but I found out recently that he doesn't upload clips that don't involve hair mess. Ahhhhh! That means there are clips out there from these shows where you might have a pie in the face (my preference) but I haven't seen them. Anyway, in case you are reading this Unsung2008, your Youtube Channel was appreciated by me.

Well, the not uploading clips with no hair is more of a recent thing. I've honestly gotten tired of editing these clips, and to be frank, they're all starting to blend together. Most of my earlier work (pre-2Q17) should be more or less comprehensive, so you're really not missing much.

Well I figured you guys -- Rich / ABgamma -- would have seen this....being religious followers and all....there is/was another blond gal (longer straight hair, real natural looking, almost US American looking) that was also a great sport and the guys would treat here nicer with the pieings....didn't see her in this clip....in any event, the original (bigger -gooeier) pies were the best and the beautiful models simply could not avoid getting plastered....ahhh, memories.

Wama, you're in exactly the same spot I was in when I decided to start editing videos. There's a lot of great footage out there which is horribly edited. I figured, well if no one else is doing it, I might as well start editing the clips myself.

If you're interested in filling the void you see, I'd recommend picking up Lightworks (https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_lwks&view=download&Itemid=206), which is a free video editing software. That should be able to get you started and then when you want more functionality, Premiere Pro (the greatest thing ever, seriously.) from Adobe is $30 a month.

Having more people editing videos is always an incredible boon to the community. Over the past few years a number of people -- Brendon Tyler, Arsenal TY, (and yes) Rodrigo -- have created quite a collection of quality WAM material. If you have some extra time and would like to contribute, this is a great way to give back to the community.

Also, while I am choosy about I edit, Rodrigo will edit any mess at all (male WAM included). If I do miss something, you can be sure that he'll pick it up (https://www.youtube.com/user/neomautusiano/videos), however his videos are generally lower quality and poorly named, so finding particular clips is challenging.

Only counterpoint: If you're paying attention to this board and/or shows you like, you'll catch all these clips yourself. The "WAM edit" channels are definitely useful, but so often I have to balance "this saves me the time of editing" vs. "this isn't edited the way I want or in the quality I want." So, toss-up.
[The reason I pick on Rogerio is mainly because 95% of his clips are ones I've already seen, and almost always in worse quality than the original, so the value he adds is negligible. For me, anyway. I'm sure others don't care.]

Brendon and Arsenal are both very good. Occasionally they do find clips I wasn't aware of. And their stuff is usually kept at the same quality. Same with ABG (Jack Smith).... When Conexao really declined, I mostly gave up doing my own edits and just started gathering yours. (Although sometimes you'd ignore a solid face-only pie. Eh.) The show wasn't worth the effort to me anymore.

We're also forgetting jucmehoff. He's not mentioned on the UMD because half his channel is minors (which is a whole 'nother discussion).... BUT.... He's the only guy still actively scanning all the Disney/NICK/etc shows. Which is basically the ONLY mainstream WAM still happening in English-speaking countries. As such, about 75% of his content is unique to me.... which is a WAY higher ratio than the other channels mentioned.

The preview clip featuring "highlights" from the new season of Conexao (CM3.5) was finally posted yesterday. The premiere episode should air on Sunday.

Added to the program is a plethora of new games designed to entertain stunted 10 year olds.

There are still plenty of balloons. The stage overflows with them.

However, there's only scant, inconclusive evidence of pies in the preview clip.

It's possible that the pies were edited out of the preview clip to focus viewers' attention on the new games.

Only this post on Conexao Instagram from nearly a month ago gives reason to believe that pies are still part of the program.

The preview clip also shows a few seconds from the final round of the game. All the women look 100% clean.

If pies are still part of the program it's very likely that they play a significantly reduced role.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. But it doesn't look promising.

Not sure how many ways there are to keep saying, "This show sucks but I'm still watching."

Mark, I could've told you after the first 3 episodes that hostess would never get it! Didn't you come up with the theory that Hispanic countries will never allow their female hosts to get messy? Some variation on the "we love our beauty queens" idea??

ANYWAY. I've never watched the show in real time. But I would download and skip through the videos on the show's webpage, especially back in the days when there were maybe 1-2 women (out of 8) who would end the show unpied. (Besides the hostess, obviously.) Now, of course, I just wait for CU or ABG to tell me the show was garbage and then I don't bother.

Yeah Rich.....but there are exceptions to that theory.....e.g. Xuxa was never afraid to get stuck in with the contestants on any gameshow she hosted.

It may be a futile exercise.....but isn't that why we play slot machines at a casino or buy lotto tickets....cos we hope that one day we will get lucky....even though the odds are slim to none.

Also I have different motives to you....i.e. being a wetlook fan I am hoping they return to doing the outdoor swimming pool scenes.

Xuxa was always the exception tho. Plus she never fit that "beauty queen/model" archetype.

If you like wetlook you should've been digging the last 6 months or so of CM!
