For everyone else... This might be one of the LAST "top hat" scenes ever shot by SlapstickStuff. Of course we've kept that stupid spirit going with other skits... But this is one of the last clips with all the staples: --top hat --pinstripes (corset, in this case) --cane --stupid dancing while getting hit with pies --hooking --stuck hat --even more pies ...And, of course, the thrown slime closer! Kudos to Melissa for taking all the mess like a champ even as she conveyed the impression that she had no idea what was going on with all these stupid gags. (Or was she just a great ACTRESS? Hmmm.....)

Before we say goodbye to the top hat vaudeville outfit sketches forever let us take a moment to reflect on the joy they have brought us over the years. No, this outfit perhaps isn't like the chef's costume, or the gold bikini , or even the tiny thong nurses oufit, in that it isn't the skimpiest or tightest, but it is older than all those, so has a tradition. Farewell Vaudeville outfit; we will miss you and we salute you.
I think you guys MIGHT be reading more into this one! I still plan to occasionally use a variation on that outfit, and yes a top hat MAY be part of the costume as well. (See those recent pics of Carrie, Kelly, and Megan that piesub posted...)
BUT I usually write it so the top hat disappears before the mess starts. Over the years I determined that covering up the top of the model's head was one reason those scenes didn't sell as well. So it's had a good run... And I got some great scenes out of it... But in the interest of appealing to more folks, all models that get messy will (probably) be top-hat-free from here on out...
