Andi, so many of the gowns you allow yourself to be dunked in include 'opera' or elbow length gloves. And while they only represent a very small percentage of the fabric you have on, to me they make such a huge difference in how glamorous you look!

And that, in a nutshell, is my personal taste in wetlook. The more formal, or better yet glamorous, the Model looks, the more I enjoy it.

Oh wow same dress!! Plus a mud set! These things are really built to last.

You're not joking!! Women's formal wear is surprisingly resilient. I drop a hotdog on my cotton T-shirt and it is stained forever, Andi gets destroyed in a wedding gown and it washes clean We actually made a video about this last winter showing a fancy dress getting sploshed with things that you would think would permanently stain it, and then washing clean: https://umd.net/forums/getting-dirty-to-get-clean

After it came clean, we had planned on shipping the dress to CheekyLuna to splosh, unfortunately shipping costs prevented that from happening

Andi looks gorgeous throughout, personally I think the dress looks better once it's had its first soaking, though I do love the "awaiting her fate" shots too, Andi does those so very well! But perhaps all brides should be hosed down before being allowed up the aisle, to improve the look of their outfits?

Agree re washability too, I realise the idea of ruining something beyond repair is part of the fantasy for some wammers, but our experience is that most things will wash out just fine after a few runs through the washing machine with decent brand-name detergent. The exception seems to be white cotton things - soak those in custard and they'll be yellow forever. It's shoes we tend to destroy, those don't take so kindly to being machine washed.

Admin note: I don't think there's any problem with a few messy follow-up pics in a case like this where there's a valid reason in the discussion to include them - same model in same dress messy who's already been fully shown wet, in a discussion of other uses of said dress, seems fair and reasonable to me. TBH most of MM's rules fall into that kind of category, "is there an honest and fair reason why it'd be reasonable to post this here", and if the answer is yes it should be OK. As long as the thread starts with actual wetlook, as in going from clean and dry to soaked in water, it should be OK.
