Never tried it, but think BBQ sauce has one drawback. Pepper, Onion and other spices in it. May burn the eyes and skin w/extended contact. I suggest caution using bbq as a WAM substance.

Agreed - and the smell lingers for weeks! Seeing BBQ sauce still makes me cringe 10 years later
On a side note, can we start a thread where we just post different food items in huge quantities from amazon we want to try?

Not to mention you would smell delicious for days after.

Know what....? That is a darn good idea! I did not know you could buy bulk surplus food on Amazon. Perhaps there's other sites as well? Imagine that! Purchasing say 20 gallons of corn syrup or cake batter or pudding/custard or similar, at bulk rate discount prices, then have it delivered 2 your door ! What a great idea & potential concept! Perhaps a new section to the UMD board for "WAM Substances" where links to bulk sales sites online could be posted for Member's benefit? I feel it's something that should perhaps be considered.
ps: Do not overlook Food Pantry Donation Centers as a source for WAM items. Food Donation Centers discard tons of expired and outdated "past-use-by-date" food all the time. There is one nearby us who discards bulk amounts of expired non-edible food every Friday. I once got 7 cases of expired youghrt and cottage cheese FREE out of their dumpster out back free for the taking! Also once got 100 pounds of over-ripe bananas in 4 huge bags. The youghrt cases were still in the OEM sealed containers and shrink wrapped. Check these places out sometime or ask if you can take expired food for 'compost' uses. They get tons of food they can't use or donate so it end's up in the Bin free 4 the taking. An it's a good use for it because it's already expired too!
