Anyone interested in arrange a mud meet up this year?? Been trying to get a group together sometime this summer.....I don't know of any places so any ideas would be great.....located in Indiana so any place around Ohio or Michigan would be amazing
I'd love to commit to a small mud vacation sometime this summer. I know another group tried to do the same thing last year, but plans fell through and it kinda fell off everyone's radar. If we could get something more concrete this year, that'd be great!
Looking at the first week in July as a potential time slot.......I would prefer July 7th but am open for whenever anyone would want to have some fun in the mud since it's getting warmer

Had a great time at Creekridge Campground (Stockbridge, MI) the last couple years. There's the well known "sliphole" clay pit under the geodesic dome (nice white clay, a few pics on my profile). and a "natural" mudpit one of the campsite regulars set up. A number of videos on this site were filmed there.
It takes longer for ground/water temps to warm up there, but by late June it's quite pleasant, the last two years we went in late July and really slopped it up. Best of all it's a gay campground, so while you have an audience sometime (who often join in on a hot/humid day......., nobody's calling the cops on you for being on private property, etc.
Most drive there, but if flying is an option, DTW is only about a 90 min. drive away.
Probably not in the proverbial cards for me this year, as I just signed onto a new mortgage, and will have to stick to local mid-Atlantic spots........
Headed for a session at the CRC slip dome on June 26th but will hopefully be making another trip before the season is over if anyone is interested reply or dm

Would love to do a mud meetup as I've never had the pleasure of doing mud. Woud love to travel and maybe meet up. I keep hearing about the CRC mud pit and would love to try it out.
