It's been over 90 degrees quite a few days here this year. I think the last count was over 13 days over 90. Of course the humidity's been crazy as well. Today only' got to 87 I think but humidity is way up, Air just feels heavy & sticky outside for any length of time. usually I wear jeans & a t shirt but other days I'll wear some sort of a dress shirt. Days like today make me harken for my favorite summer activity. Emptying my pockets, kicking off my shoes and climbing up on the seat of a dunk tank!
I've been in love with dunk tanks for what seems like forever, whether it be throwing a ball at the target trying to dunk someone (hopefully a female) or being the victim! I just love dunk tanks! I'll make it a point to volunteer so I can feel that drop' and sudden submersion into the cold water, and then climbing back up dripping wet to be dunked over & over & over again. Today is one of those days I wish I could get into a dunk tank everyday! I've even been dunked' by sitting on a chair where the water is dropped on you, I believe it was called a 'flush tank' and you get just as soaked! I mean getting drenched by a bucket (or buckets') or someone with a garden hose is all well & good but to me a dunk tank is IT! Which is a problem now as dunk tanks seem to have dropped in popularity and are not at a lot of fairs & festivals anymore.... Sad'
