I was booked in for Sploshing Event at Townhouse on 31st July 2016, but unfortunately my car broke down the day before and I was gutted that I wasn't able to get to the event. With the hours I worked in my previous job the opportunity and time for sploshing was sadly lacking. So, last night (Tuesday 14 March 2017) I attended the London Splosh Games and had an absolute blast.

Getting There

I had seen the event pop up in the Fetlife Splosh UK group and thought that sounds like fun and booked my ticket. I decided to get the train down to London and as it was plenty of time in advance I booked first class as I got a very good deal. The train journey was enjoyable but I knew my nerves were playing up as I was wondering what it would be like and if I would be able to talk to anyone as I didn't know anyone else going.

Introductions

The taxi dropped me off at the venue where people were waiting to go in and as I joined the queue, the person in front said 'Hello' which was a good sign, I also said hello to the person that came after me and then I was greeted by CKWam for the registration, so a good start. I then went into the venue to and got my raffle tickets from more of the hosts, who were very welcoming. I stowed my gear and got changed into a red and black PVC playsuit. Pic attached.

After getting changed, I got myself a drink and waited for the fun to begin chatting to some of the other guests and hosts and was made to feel at home. I then found a seat for the first splosh event which was a gunge tank and games of Find the Ace. Earlier in this piece I mentioned the raffle ticket, I had also been persuaded by one of the hosts to buy some more. I had planned to but when a host comes up in a very nice latex dress and smiles sweetly, well I am easily persuaded!!!

Find the Ace A Gunge Tank Game

The raffle tickets had been placed in the jars of the hosts who were going to be the opponents in the game. Along with the majority of the rest of the audience, in my 'to do' list has been a gunge tank. Every time the host hand went in the jar my heart went in my mouth, hoping my ticket was picked and when it wasn't my heart sank. However, I still enjoyed the spectacle of the game where the challenger whose ticket had been chosen when first in the gunge tank whilst the model picked three cards, if the Ace wasn't found in the three cards, the participants swapped over for another three cards and kept going until the Ace was found. Once the Ace was found the person in the tank got gunged! From having seen gunge tanks on TV to seeing it 'live' was awesome. I am really jealous of those who got to take part, the gunge tank and hopefully a dunk tank are still on my 'to do' list.

The next half of the night was the games section and we left the gunge tank upstairs and alighted down to the basement.

The Games

A variety of messy games was to be played in the second half of the night and I had signed up for Messy Rock, Paper, Scissors. I did think about suggesting it was changed to Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock


but kept quiet as I figured that it would get complicated anyway. And kudos for those that have just got the last sentence without clicking the link! I was paired up with another contender (apologies I can't remember your name, shout up if it was you!) where we started off. If I remember correctly I won the first round and got to gunge my opponent! After winning one or two more rounds, I then lost and got the think green gunge pored over my head. Which if you are not into sploshing will not mean much, but it was awesome! The expectation of waiting for the gunge to come out of the jug, then feeling the weight on my head to it pouring down over my face and neck was awesome. This went on for with us playing the game unitil all the gunge had run out. I ended up with gunge down the back of my PVC suit, in the front of my PVC suit, in the crotch area, around my bum and all over my head, it felt wonderfully gooey, enveloping, cocoony and slimly all at the same time. Bliss.

After we had finished the bucket it was time for a clean-up, unsurprisingly there was a queue for the showers but everyone waited patiently and it gave me a change to savour the gunge in my suit and on me. I was showered and changed into a black and red spandex playsuit just in time for the next game.

The next game was Strip or Slime where I was paired with one of the models who got swapped out half way through for another model. Unfortunately I am sorry but I can't remember you names, so if you are reading this please shout up. The idea of this game was to answer questions and if you got it wrong you got to gunge your partner who was sat down. I slipped up on the first questions as I got them right! I think it was the third question, where a question on came up on aviation came up and I knew the answer was Heathrow, I realised I need to loose so I could gunge my partner, so despite my previous career in aviation, I answered Derby! And got to pour gunge on my partner! This was an awesome sight. After a while we swapped over and the model got there revenge! After a couple of questions the model was swapped out for another and on getting the question wrong, I was given the opportunity to either strip or slime and said I would strip! I then found myself naked, partially covered in gunge in front of everyone else, which was a real rush. The questions when on for a few more and as part of the gunging, someone had brought out gunge guns and not only was I getting it poured over me but gunge was been fired at me! Brilliant! At the end as there was some gunge left over I got to pour it over the model. Thank you.

It was then time to get cleaned up ready to go home.

Homeward bound

On the journey home I was buzzing and still am a day later. I had a brilliant time and I would like to thank @charlie_kilo and his team for putting on such a great event. Book me in for the next one.
