Someone is allegedly using my pictures pretending to be me.

I'm not sure if it's to scam or cat fish people, but I only have my Bluesky account and my X account for social media. Both are linked on my profile. I do not have a Discord or any other chat app. I do not message people as Violet outside of those sites and my UMD, MV, and C4S respectively. All of my sites can be found here. If it's not linked on here, then it's not me.

I'm writing this as a blog post so if someone is being maliciously scammed or tricked by someone using my likeness and name, they will hopefully be able to find this post easily and hopefully make an informed decision about who they are talking to. This not only applies to people posing as me, but people pretending to be anyone they are not for malicious reasons.

Obviously if people want to role play as a fantasy as someone they are not, I won't judge that. This is referring to catfishing or scamming to gain unearned trust or money from people.

An easy way to check:
>Is the person reaching out using my likeness messaging you from my linked twitter or Bluesky account? Or perhaps my UMD account, verified MV or C4S account? Good chance it is me.

>Is it the same social media but different username than what I have linked here? Then it's not me.

>It it an email? I only email people I have talked to on one of the above sites first, or if it's me responding to a custom inquiry I received first (not me messaging first). Not one of those? Then a good chance it isn't me.
