After spending my time looking for other areas to do wetlook and mud play I will have to be satisfied that I have only discovered a good place for wetlook. The nearest, proper mud flats are just under two hours away.

The area is in Canberra and at least on the side of the territory where I live so it's nice and close.

The only real issue is that it is in a nature reserve and both sides a frequented by walkers, hikers. Winter seems to keep them away for the most part, that being said the water is freezing on a good day.

The beach is well screened from the road on either side of the river.

The governemnt halts bacteria tests during winter so no head immersion.

I know what outfits I am going to be wearing. Need some flats or cheap high heel boots for footwear.

Wonder if any rubber or leather loving people would like to go for a paddle?
