Yup, so I thought it would make sense to actually blog sometimes and keep anybody who's interested up on what's going on with UMD.

First I gotta say sorry about the downtime last night, as our server power supply actually failed. It's replaced and now we're back up and running! As I've been for the past few months, I've been making adjustments to get rid of that occasional outage that was being caused by too many visitors at a time. Yall fools really know how to download some stuff, lemme tell ya

Download store owners--the bins have been jacked up, but now your new files are being processed and will show up in your bins in a little bit. The bin bottleneck hopefully shouldn't happen anymore.

My side-project has been a new chat hosted by UMD itself, to get us off of Parachat. It'll be a new room plus a chat along the bottom of the site, but work on that has been slow. It's working OK now in my test area, though I'm not sure how it'll react when everybody gets on it. I'll drop it I guess in about a week and we'll see how that goes.

I'm still catching up on a lot of messages, so thanks everybody for your patience.

Finally I just want to give a shout to all on UMD who post messages on the forum. This is an adult fetish site, but you guys really act like adults. Sometimes things happen, but by and large, you guys are more respectful to each other than those in any other online community I have ever come across. I can't even browse forums on code websites without seeing bickering on like every single thread. Some people say like it's like that here, but it's really not. So thank you.
