previously appearing as "about me" but decided to post it here as i revise my profile...
Once upon a time, a younger me found anything wet clothing related irresistibly fascinating. TV commercials for Mountain Dew, ahh...i found the "clorets" gum commercial that excited me so greatly! (but youtube seems to kill the link if i try to post???)
a 15 second advertisement, with barely 3 seconds of wetlook...
you see an attractive lady who says "I had a tuna on rye with onions... and now if i scream fire nobody would come to my rescue... so i take a clorets"
and as she is lifting the breath mint to her mouth, you can already see a dousing of water flying through the air towards her. (the idea being that this breath mint works very well) and while that initial deluge is still dripping a fireman holding an empty water bucket runs up and asks "you called?"
were those the "dark days" for WAM before the internet? Or did scarcity make every little bit so much more treasured?
Seeing that i was not alone in this world was such a relief, wasn't it? But WAM is still a very small community (not to be confused with wham!)
But i think i might have gotten old (or maybe i am still somewhat in recovery after divorce #2?) There was a tremendous rush at the thought of getting into a lake, river, pool, dunktank, and today, not quite so much. On the other hand, spring is here, with summer following soon after. Covid ruined last summer substantially... let's see if this summer will be better or worse?
