Over the years; I am glad to find a few number mud spots in Austin region. If I were share out the locations, I would. Cypress Creek Park near Lakeway, Bohl's Park, Jones Brother Park in Jonestown, Berkley Meadow Park on HWY 130, & the last location I would personally not recommend visiting is the private park owned by Austin Colony HOA in that area.

It feels complicated to now explore decent near-bottomless mud spots in central ATX with over rain & private properties. I looked on GMap that there may be promising mud spots in the heart of Austin near the Colorado River. Have not explored it yet. Wanted to give updates to fellow Austinites.
