I've made up several messy games over the years, but this one is by far the most elaborated one. It's basically a very simple board game. I think the principle is called 'game of goose' in english. You have a playing board with squares, you throw a dice to determine which square you go to. The board is designed in a spiral, you start on the outside, moving towards the center. If you reach the center you win the game.
In the usual multiplayer version, the first one to reach the center, wins. When you're playing alone, no one is going to beat you to it, so I made up an alternative: The squares you land on, all have an assignment, and the assignments require supplies (substances). So if you run out of a certain type of supplies before you reach the center, you loose. This allows you to influence the chance of winning or loosing, by changing the amount of supplies available. In my current version of the game, the chance of loosing is maybe between 1:5 and 1:10. If you win the game, there is a reward, if you lose, theres a punishment. This can be anything you want to.
As I said, every square on the board goes with an assignment. There are different kinds of assignments:
1. The basic white squares (the majority) require you to cover bodyparts with substances. The substances used are in the current version: chocolate sprinkles, butter, jam, nutella, peanutbutter, apple spread and molasse. They are to be applied on chest, belly, ass, and most of all private parts. I made quite an effort to make sure that the substances are evenly balanced in the game, and the chance of running out of them is about equal for any substance. Ofcourse its possible to replace any of the substances with the kind of thing you like!
2. There are several yellow squares that involve clothing. When you land on one of these squares, you either have to put on or take off a piece of clothing. There are nine of these squares, involving 3 pieces of clothing, so thats 3 squares for every piece of clothing. You start the game naked. If you land on a clothing square, you put on the piece of clothing that is named in the square. If you land on a square that names a piece of clothing that you are wearing, you have to take it off. In my version I use strings, boxers and a spaghetti top, but again you can fill in any piece of clothing you like. The only requirement is that they all can be worn simultaniously. The catch is, that you have only one piece of each, so it might happen that you have to put on a piece of clothing that youve worn before, and is already very messy.
3. There are green go back squares. They force you to move outward to a circle that you've already passed before. They are ment to increase the element of chance, and to make the game last longer.
4. There are blue shower squares. If you land on one of these, you have to strip naked and take a shower. These squares make the game more exciting, because they force you to clean yourself up, and then get messy all over again. What I particularly like about this, is that you take a shower, youre all nice and clean, and then, to continue the game, you have to sit down in the mess you made earlier.
5. There are 16 red squares. These squares hold special assignments, which get messier as you advance in the game. Amongst these are covering your body with jam and sprinkling flour all over your body. Here again you can fill in any assignment you like!
There are some pictures of me playing this game in my album "messy game of goose". As you can see, playing this game gets you pretty messy!
Ive tried and adjusted this game over the last year or so, played it about 15 times, and the current version is version 4. By now, I have the feeling that it completely lives up to my likings. And another thing I like about it, is that you end up with a big puddle of mixed substances on the floor, with which you can have more fun afterwards. The pyjama destroying shoot on my profile is one of the results. It's made the morning after playing the game all evening
I've uploaded a picture of the playing board to give you some idea what it looks like. The current version is in dutch, and designed for male player(s) only. I'm working on an English translation, which will be suitable for both single player and multiplayer use, and for both male and female players.
