. Or National cheese day. Seems most days are National something day. Still brings with it that fickle mistress. Inspiration. Fleeting are her visits and when she calls, I have no choice but to obey. Which makes that sound more of a chore than it is. Anyway. I digress here. While cheese is not the most obvious or usual subject of wam creativity, it does offer a few interesting options.

The first two that spring to mind are the naturally soft and runny cheeses. One of which I love, one of which I loath with a passion. Even if just to get a rise from my brother. Those two are cream cheese or Camembert. Both which would work well for a story involving a pit or pool or otherwise deep container of said cheese. Either falling in it or having to crawl around in it. Or maybe a girlfriend tricked into lying in a bed filled with either of those cheeses.

Any other cheese will need to be melted in kinda a fondue sort of situation. A huge vat of warm, melted and gooey cheese just waiting to be tipped over a waiting victim. Imagine the impressive mess that could make. Could also do for a spoof medieval siege kinda thing, with the cheese in place of boiling oil. Much more fun, am I right?
