Gunge experimentationBy lycragungefanPosted 12/16/14 377 views
I like to use Natrosol, I want to use Natrosol, but it's expensive and a logistical headache. I thought about using Xanthan Gum, its cheap and available in the supermarket, but a small amount is still a lot. So I went online and Googled "cooking alternative to Xanthan Gum" and one suggestion was cornflour (corn starch outside UK). I used the same mixing method as the Gum (water and food dye first then and a lot of flour), I got my slop. Just one thing I need to use either a hand mixer or a hand blender not a spoon, there was bits of flour in the jug I used.
