My workplace always has a fun day in the summer, and this year, what with the vogue for mud runs, somebody put together a daft little mud course to walk, run, crawl and roll through. I fully intended to take part, but with a twist. I deliberately "forgot" my old clothes and just got right in in my work stuff. I had my new grey trousers on, and nice shoes and socks. You can see what a mess I got into from the pictures I managed to get. It felt great to be covered in mud on such a hot day, and amazingly, I wasn't the only one squelching around in my work clothes! It was a great way to cool down, particularly when I went shoeless!
