Finaly had warm enough weather to go out in the mud yesterday and found some really soft not to cold mud. It was a run off pool so mostly fine grains,....my favorite type. It was about 2 ft deep then a hard smoth base. I think that was probably the ice layer. Here are a couple of pics.
