I was biking while wearing brand new black skate shoes, jeans, and a teal colored t-shirt. I found a flooded drainage ditch and set my bike down. I hesitated for a second remembering this was only the second time wearing the shoes. I decided it was worth it and plunged my foot in. I felt that rush of excitement as my shoe filled with water, then I stepped in with my other foot and proceeded to walk all the way through. The water went to just above the knees. Looking around to make sure no one was watching I dropped to my knees and soaked up to my chest. After this I sat down in order to completely soak my shirt. I rode home and did cleanup.
