Mila here, enjoying a smoothie and the first coffee of the day after a long and crazy weekend. Lots of spilled drinks and sticky situations came my way last night.
Why do I constantly find myself surrounded by people who won't settle down? Instead of calling it a night when the bars close, these people drunkenly load themselves into taxicabs and congregate at "afterparties." Sadly, the mood at these "parties" is one of dysfunction, not celebration.
I know I could refrain from attending these festivities, but what else would I do? Sleep? That is not as easy as it seems. But once I do get to sleep I am down for the count.
Okay, the smoothie is gone, time to go outside and soak up the last of the days sun. After that: dessert!
