It was my birthday a few days ago and I wanted to have a mud bath in a suit.
Rather than trash some of my own clothes I went out and bought some very cheap clothes from a charity shop (thrift store). I got a pair of trousers, a light blue shirt and a suit jacket for £3.

Back at home I planned to wear the blue shirt into the mud but I found a white shirt in my wardrobe I had somehow forgotten about that so the blue shirt will survive for another time. I also put on a dark green cotton tie to wreck. I dug myself a little mudpit 5ft by 6ft and around 2 - 3 inches deep. I kept pouring in water and churning it up with a spade and trowel. When it was ready I lay down on my front and crawled into my mudpit. I felt the coolness of the mud seep through the shirt. Once I had enough coverage on my front I turned over and layed on my back wriggling from side to side to exaggerate the feeling of the mud on my back. I picked up a handful of mud, lifted up the front of my muddy torusers and shoved the mud into my underpants. I immdeiately felt that I wanted more mud and rolled over back onto my front and started filling my formerly white shirt with mud. Once I had plenty of mud inside my shirt I stood up and felt all the mud fall down onto the ground. I had so much mud on me that my clothes felt heavy, so after one final stomp in the mud getting my orange coloured socks dirty and filthy ruining them too.
With my mudbath over I went and cleaned up hosing off before going inside. As I have never got a white shirt muddy before I hosed the shirt off while still wearing it and I was actually surprised that a lot of the white still comes back even if it is a dirty white. But I think I won't throw it out just yet and will keep it for a fancy dress party. I can't wait for my birthday next year. I think I'll do it again.
