Sometime I like to look through profiles and try to make new friends. Today I came across the profile for bill and I knew immediately I would never want to meet someone as bad as I wanted to meet him. I was so excited and honored to even have the chance to send a friend request that it took me a second to realize that bill had passed away just last year. I'm still crying and just utterly shocked.
I never met bill but from the time I saw HBO Real Sex 24 and his magazine on tv, untill I saw this man bold enough to be himself, love getting messy, and boldly say the truth: there's nothing wrong with messy fun. Until I saw him I thought liking gunge meant there was nobody out there who liked what I liked as much as I did. Bills magazine was the proof I wasent alone, and if he hadent done everything he has my life would have been a lot worse. He made me feel like it was ok to be me, which is why I am really saddened by the loss of such an incredible person.
You are one of my personal Heros bill and you will be remembered and in my heart for the rest of my life. You had no idea your messy productions filled me with such hope and helped me feel so much less Alone, but I still owe you the greatest thanks for making them, and making feeling good about this possible.
