Being spontaneousBy wetboxersPosted 9/29/11 1649 views
So last night, I had what will probably be one of the last opportunities of the summer to get wet in a storm. It's been wet and rainy in the mid-Atlantic area for several weeks, and last night we had a good chance for t-storms, AGAIN. A storm came through early but wasn't very intense and I figured nothing would really happen for the rest of the evening. Around 9:15, I started hearing a rumbling and went to find a heavy drenching pouring rain. I can't say what I was thinking, but immediately and spontaneously, I just starting running down to the basement, tossing out my wallet, phone, papers, keys, and socks, and went straight out into the backyard. I stood for a minute in the drenching rain and then sat for another 10. I was wearing an open blue button down shrit, cargo shorts, white t and green plaid boxers. My front was soaked and I could feel the water rolling thru my shorts and around my legs. You know, I think the spontaneity of the moment felt better than the "wet." It's was a cool rain, so I didn't hang outside very long and the intensity of the rain kept fluccuating. I decided to hit the shower to warm up. I rinsed off feeling the hot water work its way through the layers. To make the session a little more memorable, I slowly emptied an entire can of shaving cream on me. Sitting on the shower floor, I opened my belt then shorts and smoothered my boxers. It was memorable - yes sir! And it was a good one to end the season.
