This blog will be a treat for those of you who find it here on the UMD (since I'm only publicising it on my Twitter feed @TopGunge), especially those of you who love TopGunge.com and have been waiting almost a year for a new episode...
Since TopGunge was our biggest studio project, we knew it would be a challenge to raise the funds and find the time to get it started again - after all, why bring it back if it's not going to be bigger and better than ever?!?
So where did you start for this episode?
Clearing the studio...across 2012 it's been used for JustSlimed.com, JustPied.com, You Can't Do That On The Internet, MostWAM (occasionally) and the all-new JustMessyWrestling.com and GungeMistress.com....all of which meant we had developed clutter...so we had to reuse/recycle or throw stuff out...TopGunge.com needs approximately 100sqm of empty space before we even start building the games. areas, set-pieces and everything else we need for an hour's wam-entertainment. Whilst we have lots of new gungey ideas (some our own, some from a thread Leon posted on the UMD forum...), we have a limited budget, so we decided to limit the new episode to a new set, loads of new girls and *some* new games....never fear, we have researched lots of new games to bring into future episodes as and when we can...
reparation
Well the short version is we needed to build three walls...longer version is we needed to build three walls that would fit in with our future plans! Last night the Gunge Booth was mostly built - it's the most important segment of TopGunge.com....it's different to the last incarnation but still does the same job...get three girls gungey over 12 questions with revenge and payback possible at all stages of the game!
Today/tomorrow we are building the new Gunge Bowl...our second most popular round...stay tuned, there might be pictures and more teasers on here soon!
