So it's now Monday evening, but for those of you reading these blogs in order I want to take you back to Saturday afternoon...when I left the last blog entry we had just finished filming the Halloween special (pics below), so now we have 15 gungey girls, approx 600 square feet of gungey studio (and props - chairs, partition-walls, etc), and have to get everyone and everything clean, dry and ready to shoot the next episode...

...first up it's the girls - 15 girls and two showers takes a while, but they get there in the end! Whilst they're doing that the crew (in this case me, Leon, Jonny and Chris) start scraping, cleaning, aqua-vac-ing and generally trying to clear up the chaos of the last 90 minutes. Normally the girls are ready to go again before we are, but then there is a *lot* of clearing up to do!

Next we were filming a TopGunge office-wear special! This gave us the chance to have a couple of new rounds - instead of the 'interview' we had a special 'Appraisal' section where Lisa gave two of our most regular girls an in-depth review and feedback on their performance (and of course a very good excuse to cover all three of them in loads and loads of mess!) Aside from the gorgeous girls and gallons of gunge, this was also very, very funny, so well done to Lisa for that!

Then, as well as the tradition Gunge Booth and Gunge Bowl rounds, we had two more games - firstly a great round of "Messy Musical Chairs" (it's amazing what the pressure of taking a seat under 80-odd litres of gunge does to a girl's common sense!) and then a new game - Pie Charts and Gunge Graphs (basically a middle-management version of higher or lower - the girls guessed which bit of the pie was bigger or whether the graph went higher or lower, with messy forfeits for wrong answers!)

After all that there was the usual gungey mucking-around at the end of the episode in the gunge bowl, before yet another cleaning up session.....hard work for those of us off/behind-camera, but well worth the effort! Normally we leave a lot of the mess for the next day, but as this is a very long weekend, we need everything clean and dry overnight for the next episode tomorrow (sunday), but that will be a tale for the next blog - stay tuned for behind the scenes part 4!
