(4) Frequency of use of UMD

I do not utilize UMD that much. I only take a quick look at the image archive once in a while. My husband seems to be rather active in using UMD, but most of the time his purpose is to check images and videos. I sometimes look at communities where discussions are taking place, but I just translate the articles at DeepL and look at them. The language barrier is too high for us to participate. So we can't even chat in real time.

(5) Good points on UMD

To our delight, we occasionally receive direct messages. We appreciate those who send us messages. Because we are glad that they take the trouble to spend time for us. At the same time, we are sorry that we do not update the images at UMD. Various circumstances make that impossible.... Please enjoy this blog instead.

Also, some of you have been in correspondence through messages. They too seem to have busy lives, but we talk about Messy in the form of status updates. This is a fun element that adds to the value of using our UMD.

However, what about comments that are just short sentences like "How are you ?" I don't know how to respond to a short comment like "How are you? I should correctly reply with "Good!" but I am not in the mood to comment only that.

By the way, in Japanese English education, it was taught that it is correct to answer "I'm fine thank you, and you?" when asked "How are you ?". This seems to have been changed in the current educational program, but I felt very uncomfortable with this formal English education! I am sure you are feeling the same way as you are reading this blog right now. I'm sure you are feeling the same way as you are reading this blog right now, and you will learn much better by reading the articles posted by UMD.
