George & Jane had been friends when they were 5.They had played together ,got on well with each others parents.They went to school together but at 18 both went seperate ways.Both from the countryside Jane went onto work in advertising in the big city.George worked his way up in engineering .
George found out and was pleased that Jane was moving back home. They both met up for a drink but Jane was very distant.She was also very beautifull,with her long dark hair ,brown eyes & slender frame.It was on one hot day George discovered why she was so distant.
It was a hot Saturday George was working on his parents farm..Jane rode past him on her horse .' Hello Jane' no reply.He looked up at her to see she been crying.But before he could say anything she was gone.
Half hour had gone by .George felt warm breath on his back.He turned round only to be met by a snorting horse no Jane! Was she injured ,or worse!
George raced off as he new where she might have gone.They used to play in the woods but there was a quarry at the end .George watched the diggers & dump trucks working when he was small.
Suddenly he heard a scream ' Jane i'm coming it will be alright' he shouted.As he got to the end of the far side of the wood where the quarry started,he stopped dead in his tracks.
'Jane are you okay'
' Of course i'm alright just get me out of here. uuuhhgg' she said
George was greeted with Jane dazed as her horse had thrown her.She was up to her thighs in thick mud.Her long hair ,white blouse ,jodphurs splattered in mud!The quarry had rcently closed but the slit ponds were never emptied.
'Hang on hunnie i'm coming to get you don't move' George said
' i'm can't move in case you hadn't noticed 'Jane wailed.
George stumbled into the mud but sank & lost his balance falling face first in the slop.
Jane burst out laughing as George was covered.
'Glad to see you smile again .I missed you' George said
'I missed you too,i have left him he treated me like dirt' Jane said
George look at her then he did what he had always wanted to do .He kissed her ..
'how are going to get out of here' Jane giggled
'Your shower or mine' George said
