10 years of EMD - A massive update!

To celebrate ten years of EMD we have assembled the largest update ever with new stuff, unseen 'lost' things from loved killers and remastered sets spanning the whole gambit of EMD and beyond (see below!). Becasue today isn't only the tenth birthday of everythingmustdie, but also a significant anniversary for me as sneaked666.


20 years, and a time to say goodbye...

When I became sneaked666 as a teenager I couldn't have imagined that twenty years later, I'd still be here. That what started out as messysneakers on egroups, would still be going, let alone having had weekly updates for fifteen years! It has been a rollercoaster ride but I wouldn't have changed any of it. This whole venture was so that people who couldn't create their own website had somewhere where they could post their fun. And, largely, I think we have served that purpose.

But the world has changed over that twenty years. Some things fall by the wayside or become redundant, and sometimes, as we hurtle forward, we forget to take the time to think about those things that excited us, those things that brought us joy and at some point fall out of our lives. We forget to say goodbye.

And it's the right time for us to do that now. So to all those who passed through, and especially to those who we didn't get to say a proper farewell to, thank you and goodbye...

The constant creativity of the the 'killers' has kept me going and amazed me in equal measures. A huge thank you to ginnasio for his massive contribution and to ssb1978 who created the 'wreckingclothes' predecessor. And of course, to all of the current 'crew' who have enabled me to take a few steps back as I always hoped; I love you all.

As mentioned, the World has changed but none more so than over the last few weeks. With many of our killers locked down, providing new fun stuff was always going to be difficult, and with so many other outlets available, now seems a perfect opportunity for the rest of us to say goodbye too. It has been an unbelievable privilege to curate this small section of the Internet over the last twenty years. Thank you so much for your support and love; it has always meant the world to us. I just hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have.

To be honest, there were times I nearly didn't make it this far, but everytime someone popped up just at the right time and said the right thing or did something amazing. But I really think it's my time now.

So fuck it. The world needs more fun now than ever before at this moment, so we're going to hang around a bit longer and try to help everyone stay sane. I have no idea what that fun is so strap in; it might be a bumpy road ahead, but with you by our side it can't possibly be anything other than fine can it now?

Here and now though, most importantly of all, please stay safe, stay well and help others as much as you can. We will get through this, apart but always together.
