Hello guys ! So I've always wanted to go and have a good wallow in some thick , creamy mud. Now that I can do that , I still have a problem. Where do I look to find something like a mud quarry , pond or pool ?

Yep, that's been my approach, seeking out channels where smaller streams join a larger estuary. You can usually find soft mud and running water for cleanup without having to go as far out as you would on the main channel, and because the streams naturally break up people's walking routes, you can often find spots away from paths.
It really depends on the geography of your local area. *IF* you live near the ocean, there's a good chance you'll be able to find nice tidal mud. For example, about 90 minutes south of me is the Delaware Bay, which has tons of tidal inlets with muddy banks at low tide and mudflats. A lot of them are only accessible on the water though (e.g. a kayak), but you can usually find a decent inflatable kayak for under $500, and it's good exercise.

Wow... Where is that, Jersey or Delaware side!? Also, be careful as your out looking. I forgot about one of my worst fears as I was scoping places along the mighty Schuylkill last weekend...snakes. 3-4 long black snakes... I'm still having nightmares about them since.
While searching and exploring the various inlets, you can be lucky and find where a keel boat has been wintered and a very deep pit full of slippery mud, some two meters or more deep. Then you can dive in head first to find the bottom, maybe?

You have significant coastline on the Black Sea, probably also worth investigating tributaries of the Danube, at a quick glance the area around Stariat Dab looks interesting, though I don't know if the river being the border means there's a lot of survelilance.
Google Earth is a great starting point, but the trick is knowing what to look for. Quarries are normally easy to spot, followed by coastal inlets and rivers. I've helped a number of guys on UMD find mud using GE. I'm happy to help you search... cant guarantee a result, but happy to lend a hand. Send me a PM MBx

Delaware side. I posted the locations to the QSF map (editor version). All my spots require a kayak. I've yet to encounter a (solid or liquid) snake.
