Like Dr. Zoidberg, I too bought "Ariel's Pie Shop" as my first video. Still have it somewhere though I can't for the life of me remember the last time I watched a VHS, but I'm too sentimental to part with it.
I really got into viewing all of this around 2009, usually from youtube. But I didn't make my first purchase until mid 2012 with 114-5 Anglefan, Stacy. She was a lovely model
Mine was WSM no. 1 way back in 1990. Never looked back as I thought I can make the videos myself with glamour models willing to get messy......and it worked. Some 30 plus videos later I have plenty to look back on and maybe share once I get motivated to get them on DVD!
The first WAM-related purchase I ever made was WAMF's membership site, back when that was operational. The first video of theirs I downloaded was probably either Fawn's Melt or her Slammy episode--both of which are still fantastic, and may be on the UMD download site now.
I've forgotten the title of the video but it was the Messy Fun one which included "Mud Pit Repair" and was partly filmed at the home of a friend of Rob's who had his own mud pit in his garage. The overall link premise for the video was a kind of "messy anonymous" meeting where women with mess addictions talked about their habits, and which ended with one of Rob's trademark multi-girl pie-fight scenes, including Daisy in a fabulous silky jumpsuit getting pied. This would have been in late 1995. Six months later I'd saved up enough to buy my next one, "Splatgirl". I still remember the excitement of getting a new issue of the Messy Fun newsletter through the post every now and then too. Seems like another world now!
I don't remember which one(s) I bought first. It was either Messygirl Vol 5: Pied, Slimed, & Soaked with Leah on VHS or Phoebe Rodriguez Vol 1, 5, 6, & 9 on VHS. (I bought those 4 all at once.)
A subscription to tiedandpied.com back in 2005. Juuuuuust before the Crazygirls sites went under. Lucky to have a couple of sets still downloaded from way back when!
The first WAM video I brought was Pretty Clumsy Woman, which I found in a HMV store in Sheffield back in 1994!
However, the first purchase of any WAM related material (as opposed to 'incidental' WAM) was a copy of Razzle magazine back in about 1990, I remember seeing the word custard on the cover, having a quick peek and my jaw nearly hitting the floor!
The scene still really manages to stir a thing or two, even after all of these years!
I can only afford to purchase vids on a very limited basis. But my very first purchase was two of Jayce & Jilly's vids. It was in 2012, not too long after Jayce joined the UMD.
One was the Messy Slumber Party (I don't remember the exact names of the vids). Jilly & Jayce are having a slumber party, starting out with some typical "slumber party" type games. Then the mess starts! I really enjoyed that one! :lovestruck:
The other came out about the same time; it was Jilly in very sexy lingerie sitting on a bunch of cakes/pies. I love bare bums, and I love pie/cake sitting, so this one was also very enjoyable!
That's not counting a couple of mainstream porn vids that had a little mess in them that I bought back in the early-mid '90's, and like Custardwam, buying "Razzle", Bizarre", "Escort" and others if they had sets of messy ladies! That's where I was first introduced to the lovely, sexy, and very playful Sammy Jane! I really enjoyed her antics! So I was amazed that the one-and-only "Splosh" magazine that I've ever seen anyplace had as it's main set a romp by Sammy & April that was very hot! And Sammy looked awesome!

The first video I purchased, was Bill Shipton/Splosh's "Samantha Jane on the Job" on vhs, round about 1990-92. However the first WAM related thing I bought, was a copy of Mayfair magazine in 1982. I was 14 and managed to sneak it in behind another magazine when I went to pay for it
The picture on the cover was the only image from that shoot in the entire magazine, but at that age, and in '82, it was a major find
A few years passed, and in the mid 80's, a floodgate of sorts opened, with magazines such as Razzle, Fiesta, Escort, Club and others starting to feature messy scenarios in their shoots. The first issue of Razzle I bought with messy content, is the same issue my avatar photo comes from
I think the first proper WAM video I bought was 'Hot Coffee and Sticky Buns' via Splosh in about 1992. I'm not sure what the first clip I bought was, but as I'd bought some of his early tapes, I think it was a subscription to Leonmoomin's Mostwam sites.
The first material I bought was "My friend Shaun", from Rob Blaine. That was in 1992, shortly after I'd seen a blurb about Messy Fun in some mens' magazine- don't remember which one. After all these years, I have kept a running VCR just because of my Messy Fun tapes, and several from other '90s producers including Splosh and Wamtec.
I bought Pretty Clumsy Woman back in 1994 I think. I saw an advert for it in Razzle magazine. I was blown away! There was a stall in Liverpool which used to stock the Splosh magazines and also a place in Wolverhampton (Temple Street books or something like that). I'm angry with myself now that I didn't keep my collection of videos and Splosh magazines!
1st was Rob Blaine's "Splatgirl vs. Mudwoman", in 1996, after seeing a tiny postage stamp-sized picture of a girl in lingerie covered in cake batter in the back of Club magazine that had the title "Messy girls have more fun .. send $69.96 to..." I was BROKE but scraped it together. Totally worth it. I didn't get more than 5 or 6 minutes into that video before I.....was a satisfied customer.
My first wam dvd's I bought was actually from two different producers on the same day. I bought them off the within days of getting online back in 2009. All Mud Madness from Ariel at wambabes. (It had some of her best mud work up to that time.) The Best of Vicky from messygirl. A great mud pool and cake sit / masturbation scene .

I don't remember what was the first. I'm pretty sure it was something off of Vidown or Clipsforsale. Might have been some stuff with Ariel and Jilly on Wambabes.com, or possibly something from Bound2BMessy. Lol back then they had a "Bound2bmessy TV" rental service. It seems almost comical now that they'd try to provide a rental live streaming service. What ever happened to B2B anyways?
