Ok so this is a question I've had in my head for years but have been selective of who I discuss with it for my own ultimate safety. So many people these days are so closeminded about (yes in some instances unusual but ultimately,) harmless things. Ive had a foot fetish since i was 2. In a month i shall turn 40 and its only getting stronger as I mature physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually. I have been in awe at the stories and even nearby conversations (with some that I'M a part of) where a woman is asking about her pedicure complaining her feet hurts/are tired & sore or discussing foot tattoos, toe rings, shoes etc. and when I (or a guy) politely compliments them or offers to massage their feet and she freaks out, laughs/teases him (especially when in the company of her girlfriends), gives him a look as if he asked her to give him a lap dance in a playground, ignores him and/or walks away. It's like some catch 22 that i can never understand and get frustrated at times. I've been wondering of late what do female wammers think of guys who like women's feet. It's my assumption that they -the female wammers- are more laid back and open minded in general but i have nothing to back it up hence this post. Also considering that most of the few women I've talked to about my foot fetish which was somewhat scary for me -as I had no idea how they would react- have been either neutral or negative towards it or even off the wall calling me a creep or perv... when i am neither , i figured this would be one of the safest places to talk about it. So I wonder what do you all think of men who like feet?? Does it impress you, turn you on? Freak you out? Disgust you? Foot adoration is becoming more and more part of culture and iconic than ever before. Don't beleive me? Type in wiki and most likely the second search after Wikipedia is wikifeet. I challenge ANYBODY to go to a magazine section and NOT find an actress, singer, model etc that DOESN'T have her toes showing and pointed at the reader. I could go on an on but I just wanna get some insight specifically from the women. When you hear foot fetish the FIRST thing that comes up on a talk show, discussion etc is creep, disgusting, loser, the few mentally unhealthy foot guys that violate a womans space. There are so many of us good, respectful, polite guys that naturally like feet....and a foot fetish is just that, natural. In my research I0've learned that the foot fetish is the most common one and nearly 75% of ALL men like feet (openly or secretly). I just hope it becomes more positively received and more women let us be us without fear or shame. Oh and I'm sincere when I say it, happy women's day!

So I feel qualified to answer this on a couple of levels..

Firstly, my first encounter with a guy with a kink was a guy into feet.
I was a drunken teenager out on a Saturday night with my cousin.
This guy was very complementary about my feet, just wanted to stare at them, touch them, smell them, watch me walk etc.. all of which I found empowering and a little bit odd and funny tbh. I was very young.

Secondly, one of my many hats is as a foot health practitioner. I can tell you that I've never met somebody who likes their feet ( except for me )
So potentially you are pointing out an area of their bodies which they don't like, are probably paranoid about on some level.

There is also the huge part, of the feet being one of the most ticklish areas of the body, and most adults don't like being tickled, as it makes them vulnerable and gives away power.

There is nothing wrong with being into feet, there's nothing wrong with being into boobs, there's nothing wrong with being an ass man, there's nothing wrong with being into wam.
It's all about how you bring it into conversation. If you overheard a woman chatting about her bra digging in, would you offer to massage her chest? Probably not.
Same difference really...

I know some women have negative reactions to foot fetishist in general because their interactions with that fetish is guys trying to sneak cell phone pictures of their feet on the bus, or men asking women to send foot photos online pretending it's some innocent thing and not a fetish. For whatever reason I have had more issues like that with foot fetishist than any other fetishist. When I did cam work guys would constantly ask to see my feet in free chat, because "they're just feet", they felt entitled to not pay me to jerk off to my feet. Every cam girl I ever talked to had this same complaint.

Personally I have nothing against people with a foot fetish and I would not judge an individual based on the behavior of a larger group. Sadly the bad behavior of some people does create a strong impression. But if I'm dating someone who gets off on massaging and kissing my feet that is a win-win IMO. I just don't want a stranger coming up to me asking me to take my shoes off in public

Foot fetishists are portrayed as creepy weirdos all through modern pop culture. Actual creepy things like chaining someone up and inflicting pain on them are glamourized, so it's kind of a mind fuck to walk around with a foot fetish in today's world. It makes you want to suppress it in order to avoid embarrassment, but when suppressed feelings find their own way to the surface they don't always pop out gracefully.

You bring up a really good point! I have come across women a few times who when the subject of their feet comes up for foot modeling they said the same thing more or less, they dont want to pose their feet in public and some that declined bc they did t know me. I do my best to explain why i think feet are beautiful and to be admired without unnerving them. I wonder if it's less unnerving if a FEMALE stranger asked the same request for foot photos in public. This is a thought ive wondered from time to time. I cant speak for all guys but alot of us sometimes hold back on saying entirely that photos we take are foot fetish related bc frankly it can be a tricky and potentially dangerous scenario for us. If a girl takes what we say in a misunderstanding context, things could get serious fast for us, so we sometimes admire their feet wording it carefully for our own protection. Think about it, its easier for a girl to request a pic of a ripped guys abs bc she thinks his abs are hot than a guy to request a pic of a girls feet bc he thinks her feet are hot. And if the guy was uncomfortable with that, he would potentially be thought of as a punk, wuss. Not trying to cause any clashes, just saying how tough it can be to approach women about this, even women they know. Hope my words make sense.

You make good points but the bra example is kind of common sense. You can be 100% barefoot in a crowd of hundreds outdoors at a festival but obviously you can't go topless in public with only a couple people around. The women thinking an area of their body is shameful/unattractive which many men find the complete opposite is just one of those things we have to live with i guess. Its like when a guy scratches his jaw subconsciously and a woman finds that a turn on and tells him that but he thinks doing that makes him self conscious and she thinks its silly of him this think that. (crappy example but the first one that came to mind). You and the other replies bring insight i never considered which i normally wouldn't get from many females who are shy about such inquiries or some drunk women who tease/ridicule such questions. So im glad to have this forum where other people can discreetly speak their minds.

Wow good points. The info i gave about most men liking feet is from research, which in hindsight, i probably shouldve provided the source in my post. Not to say it is true or false, however, I don't doubt it. It's just one of those things i think are blown out of proportion, the negativity overall towards liking feet. If it was illegal here in the US then that would be one thing. I think there are many factors towards women not liking their feet like being teased about them, baffled stares when the girl is barefoot and so forth. Theres so much more behind many of them being self conscious about their feet and that i suppose makes me respect their reservations and at the same time wish to reassure them that there is art natural complexity and beauty in feet.
