A question mostly to producers and models, but also to consumers. First to the models and producers... How do the models or producers generally deal with a wardrobe malfunction? Either the top falling down or a crop top riding up too far, as an example. Do they negotiate for a higher pay if she elects to "roll with it" and go topless? Do the producers ever hope for it to happen? Have models ever been pleasantly surprised at themselves as the top falls off and then decide to just play it out by losing the top all together? I was watching some videos I found on a memory stick from the past few years and happened across a few scenes that, while watching, left me saying to myself "oh, this outfit is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen". Lo and behold, it happened more rarely than I had remembered (or, admittedly, more rarely than I had hoped). A great example is Mia in PieZone Hot Clips 2 "Secret Pie Room". The strapless top worn by Mia in the scene seems to defy gravity as she is covered in pie heavily by the end of scene. Other scenes provided glimpses of more skin as the top would occasionally fall down or completely off the breasts and give a glimpse of a little something more. An example there being Bella of PieZone in that "princess" dress.
Now to the consumer. Do you actually hope for those malfunctions? If you're hoping for it, is it a big let down when it never shows up or does it not matter?
Lastly, I'm not looking for free pics or clips, but can anyone offer some examples of the "malfunction" paying off in a great scene that ends with the model topless because she simply "plays along"?

My shoot history isn't as long as most. But my experience with models was that any questions on nudity were settled quickly -- during the interview process.
She either will or she won't. I never did see a "won't" change her mind for more pay.
One model I worked with years ago was given such a flimsy, tiny, cheaply-made bikini top that she was very concerned about it somehow not staying on. The producer was told that any malfunctions whatsoever were NOT to be in the final scene as she did not do nudity, ever.
I have to admit that I waited with bated breath for a wardrobe disaster that day. The mud was thick and deep and heavy, and the top very fragile. But that skimpy little spaghetti-string cave-girl bikini top did in fact hold up.
As a WAM fan i enjoy those Wardrobe malfunctions or some bad wardrobe choices, I don't seek them out or hope they happen. But when they do its very funny to see how the girls reacts to try and
Its actually happened a number of times at mostwam (a few times to Sky and Lila, Happened to Mel, Bobi and Amber with some bad wardrobe choices)
I like seeing a little wardrobe malfunction as long as the model's willing, i.e. she was planning on going topless anyway. For me it adds to the concept of a girl being nicely dressed (looking as if she would if she were out and about), to having her appearance completely ruined by mess, so much so that if she were seen in public looking like that she'd find it quite embarrassing.
There are two from gungemistress I remember very well because they're clearly both unscripted - Jessie's boobs falling out on the dunk tank and Ana's falling out when they're playing in the gunge tank at the end of the very first video.
I'm with Nessie on this one. We have very strictly defined tiers of what a scene will contain, with full consent obtained in advance. We have people willing to do nude, either topless or full, but any such scenes would be agreed in advance. Being very fussy about clothes means we've also never had a wardrobe malfunction, though it might be an interesting idea to play with in the future, in a scene already planned for toplessness.
We might also eventually do a "clothes cut off to full nude", as opposed to the "cuf off to underwear" we usually go for, does it count as a malfunction if someone's bra falls off because the straps have been cut?
Every good producer/model relationship relies on mutual trust. If both parties respect the other, then there's no issue after the fact.... and that includes possible "wardrobe malfunctions." It's the handful of producers who break that trust that create the horror stories. (And make models more distrustful of "WAM guys" in general, because let's be honest.... We're a niche and they basically lump us all in together.)
ANYWAY. For me specifically, I try to get a good feel for a new model's comfort level with wardrobe and showing (or not showing) skin before we shoot. That avoids most issues. But that comfort level can change over time as we develop trust: A great example is Taylor, who over 4 years went from sensible dresses.... to some "cheeky" bikinis (but no thong).... to basically wearing dental floss and, yes, having some brief malfunctions. But she never would've donned the super-skimpy bikini if we didn't have years of trust built up, and of course she knew that I'd cut out those brief slips if she'd requested. (She actually thought it was hilarious.)
But at the same time, you can't assume, "This model wears revealing bikinis, so a little slip is fine." Cuz Ginger wore those tiny nurse outfits and slingshots all the time (which actually came from a lingerie company she modeled for).... But when her boob ACTUALLY popped out briefly in a scene, she was definitely mortified, so of course I edited that footage out. It was super tricky because it popped out DURING the pie hit, so I had to animate a pixelation mask to cover up the breast for the whole shot. The rest of the scene is her dutifully holding one hand over the rebel mammary as she gets continually slimed and pied. It actually wound up being WAY funnier that way. (See pics below.)
And this has been an issue going back... 15 years? I think my first "slip" was Marisa from SS51, who wore her own bikinis that SHOULD have, theoretically, stayed put. But when she had the opportunity to pie me back, she got so excited that her boob popped out for about 10 seconds, mid-pieing. She was the one to tell me (I clearly couldn't see) and after I watched the footage, I confirmed it with her and we agreed to keep the footage (with the pie hit) but cover the boob. That's how I first learned to animate an object in editing! I even showed her the footage afterwards for her approval before it got released. Because despite her crazy tiny bikinis, Marisa was actually strict "no nude." No photos of her ever leaked out with anything showing. She was diligent about protecting her image. Years later, I did discover another WAM producer had worked with her.... and she had another brief accidental slip, which he definitely tried to highlight (zooming in as it happened). Clearly she didn't know and would never approve it, so I felt super shitty for her.... and of course, lost all respect for the producer in question who took advantage of her.
ANYWAY. Sorry to write a book, but this has always been an important issue over my entire career, and one where every situation is different. But in short, if you see a TRUE malfunction during a SlapstickStuff scene, it might not have been planned, but it was definitely "approved" after the fact. If the footage is edited or pixelated, there's a reason.

I find WAM content most interesting when the well dressed model has her face, hair and clothing destroyed by whatever substance is being used. Apart from the subject at hand, but similar in my mind is the model who stays clean during the scene only to get dragged into the mess at the end of the scene. This was especially nice in a site that has not been active in years called Messy Wrestling.(title from memory so could be wrong) where the audience would get splattered from the action in the mud. Some would stay in back and therefore remain clean. In a few instances they were dragged into the mess resisting all the way. Loved the results.
Now how this relates to the main subject. Just as I enjoy seeing clothing that was supposed to be protected completely messed up, I also enjoy when said clothing decides to pull away and expose the person wearing it. I know Rich has mentioned some models went with it and approved the scene when their original intent was to stay covered. I like it when the model goes with the flow and allows us to see the results. Seeing Taylor get bolder was fun. It is the same as the clean model getting messed up afterward in my enjoyment. Because to me WAM is best when the person is surprised by it. To sum up: when a model is being sexy and wearing revealing clothing but still trying to keep their modesty, seeing that sexy clothing fall aside and their being comfortable enough to say oh well is great.
