Hey all, so I've recently started using Discord to chat with people and was wondering if anybody ran or knew of any WAM-themed Discord severs I could join?

You could always start one. I'm not sure what it would look like though. We got chat here already and not a lot of people use it. Voice and video cat could be used. But mainly WAMmers use them for private shows, etc already on Skype.
You can totally try and make one though. If anything, it could get people playing games together, which is what Discord was going for when they designed it.
discord could be a great medium for this , skype doesn't have the greatest quality when it comes to calls and video so. I am a PC gamer so discord is something I use often M5280 #1764 is my name on there.
I'm sure someone on the quicksandfans forum had started a Discord server, though I guess that's a way more specific interest. I do use Discord, but I'm not aware of any WAM themed servers.

Made a bunch of channels for various WAM discussions, specific WAM topics, roleplay channels, off-topic discussions, places to share photos, videos, artwork etc and a personals section for stuff like meet-ups, customs etc.
It's still very much a work in progress and I'm looking to recruit some moderators to help me manage it.
