I'm kinda curious if anyone else has this odd hitch about their WAM kink. For the longest time I've been turned on about WAM scenarios and videos involving it, specifically Chocolate, Pudding, Pies, mostly edible things you can eat off each other. Starting small is a good idea, eases both of you into it and there's less cleanup

This sounds like a classic case of post-nut clarity. This also happens to me as well, but I rationalize it by enjoying the mess for as long as possible before finishing, so that when I go through the cleanup process afterwards, I have quite a few memories to think about while cleaning, instead of focusing just on the cleaning part.

My advice to you is that if you do try it, make getting your partner cleaned up the first priority and then let them relax. It is a similar case for most I would suspect. Clean up sucks, but with the right prep it goes easy. Most sessions I had I enjoyed it as long as possible, then rested a while before the cleanup thinking of the session. Lessons learned from others and my own thoughts, I had the room cleaned and bagged for the trash in less than 1/2 hour. Laundry of the sheets I put down over plastic to prevent slipping took longer as I wash them at least 2-3 times to reuse again. It will take that long to get the smell out and then put them in a vacuum bag for storage. I do wash them again before the session, because no matter how many times they get washed you never totally get the smell out and washing beforehand helps with the session so it isn't a total pungent smell.

Yep! Cleanup is a challenge, but there's ways to be smart about it. Tarps, drop cloths, knowing what does/doesn't go down the drain or will/won't wash out of hair and clothes easily, etc.

To the other part of the OPs question, I have developed the same clarity lately, and there's nothing wrong with it. All things come to an end eventually. I've found that this just isn't as important to me as it used to be, and that's totally ok. For you, if you feel like you might enjoy yourself, cherish that in the moment. Cleanup is a small price to pay. You needn't stop doing the things you love, or choose to never totally embrace them, for fear of the downside. If you try it and go, "Wow, this SUCKS," well, at worst you wasted an evening and a few bucks, and life will go on. And if you try it and love it, boom, you've gotten over the hump.

Something nobody's mentioned is temperature. WAM favourites that look great on screen are frequently freezing cold and everyone's body temperature drops very quickly. Especially if you don't live in a sub-tropical climate - make sure you have space heaters going and warm up your chocolate and gunge.

Also, if you don't manage to get stuck together, everything becomes more than usually slippery! The results, initially, often tend to be more comical than sexy. So, it might take a bit of practice to get the feel of it.

First, as @Trouso mentioned, make sure the situation is warm enough for both of you. Feeling freezing is a turn-off (unless one of you has a very specific kink).

Third, again as others have said, preparation is key to an easy clean-up. If you can, do it in a room you can hose down afterwards. But I know that's rare so if using plastic dust sheets, make sure to get the rough ones that won't rip when you look at them, and very securely tape them down. or onto antthing you might be lining with them. The taping needs to be mechanically strong so the two of you rolling over each other won't rip them loose.

Clean-up itself can be quick and easy with the right preparation:
- Have a tub lined with a dust-sheet to drop any messy clothing into if clothes are involved.
- Have a much larger tub (like the ones builders buy for mixing plaster in) lined with a large (90 litre or bigger) bin liner bag to drop the main dust sheer into. Ideally, double-bag it.
- Have a pathway of towels or newspaper between where you are getting messy and the shower/bath for getting clean afterwards. Tape these down so they don't stick to the feet of the first person walking along them (or the second person will be leaving messy footprints all over the house).
- Once you've finished playing, drop any messy clothes into the first tub and then use the walkway to go get yourselves clean and warmed up.
- Once clean, change into housework clothes and then tackle the clean-up.
- Grab the main dust sheet by the corners (way easier with two people), gather it up into a big tear-drop shape and gently lower it into the pre-lined large tub.
- Carry the whole tub out to your large general waste bin, then tie the neck of the binbag(s) securely closed and lift the entire double-bagged dust sheet into the waste bin. Do it gently so as not to tear or open it.
- Take the large tub back inside, put another bin bag in it and use that to dump any remaining messy stuff that didn't go out with the main dust sheet.
- Wash the clothes that are in the small tub (in the machine is fine, mess usually just disolves away, you may want to use multiple rinse cycles at the end, and/or double the usual detergent load).
- Make sure you can easily wash your hands after handling the messy clothes without touching door handles, etc - if doors between washing machine and nearest sink, prop them open.


A bit of my own history with solo wamming outdoors:

When younger I used to go out on my bike to quiet places down the coast to get muddy. I'd be wearing my mud outfit and have a clean change in the saddlebags. Cleanup is always a bummer but, even if it wasn't, I think the post orgasm come-down you're describing is perfectly natural and common. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned aftercare yet. I don't think anyone is wrong, necessarily - it probably would be easier to start small, it probably would help to prep some of the cleanup stuff in advance, it probably would help to transition to a sensate focus as opposed to a focus on building towards orgasm, and so on. It's just, to me, it also sounds like you're missing the aftercare part.

As others have said, good prep work can go a long way and also I'd second avoiding the post-nut crash by saving cumming until after. This summer my wife and I plan to build a very large downstairs shower.
