I need some help with a vibe purchase. We're looking for something that will work well during a sploshing session and won't break if you wash it thoroughly. I see Hitachis used often, but what's their longevity like when it comes to washing off your sploshing session?

Any suggestions?

Anything marketed as "waterproof" should also be mess-proof. Most sex toys wash off easily enough if you clean them before the mess dries on them and after a quick wash in soapy water I tend to give them a wipe with a neutral toy cleaner (wipe or spray) available from most sex toy retailers

You could also just stick a condom over them and tie the end closed.

The Ollie by Unbound Babes has been my tried and true for years. I love it.

We can recommend Fun Factory water Proof toys. There is a VIM like Hitachi and some more pulsing or vibrating ones.

Lelos are great. They can be pricy, but they are waterproof and durable. They also have a long battery life.

Check the IP rating (Ingress Protection); higher number= more waterproof.
You ideally want 7 or 8 for messy play (immersible/submersible in water)

Some toys claim waterproof and have much lower IP ratings- which is fine for a quick wash off or use in the shower, but probably not up to scratch for full on messy play.

Condoms are also great for helping to keep your toys clean/sanitary too.

If you have a separate battery compartment (inflatable dildo seat), wrap the compartment in a plastic sandwich bag and pull the knot fully tight. Not fully immersible, but it'll keep the batteries dry as long as you don't leave the bag submerged.
