Not sure if this is the right place to post, but wanted other people's views. I've got excellent WiFi (1GB download speeds) - why is it taking 10 seconds + to load a normal low quality image on here?

Or why does it take 15-20 seconds to load the homepage, and even then, some of the pics aren't fully loaded or it's all condensed together.

I've noticed this problem for a number of years, however, it's got to the stage the site is unusable.

I get the servers may be located US and may then be West Coast at that, but this is pathetic.

I messaged admin about exactly this the other day. Trying to play videos is also a complete nightmare.

sometimes I have the same problem (reminds me of my first job when they used mainframe computers with a green screen in front of you it used to take ages to do anything!), but this site is free and I am sure the techies in the background will find a solution..if you are waiting that long just pie yourself in the face!

Your not the only one having these issues. I have also noticed that the site has been super slow here in Canada as well. So slow that sometimes the site is almost unusable at times.

MM replied. There has been a server issue which slowed things. It's solved now and accessing things is much slicker this evening

Still extremely slow, even clicking on this link to read the comments took more than 30 seconds to load.

I don't come here often anymore just too frustrating waiting for Pages to load and the videos that never seem to work a 32nd preview you can still be waiting three or four minutes later sometimes
