Looks like it's not yet quite over for that insane age verification idea, four of the tech firms who invested in developing the systems to make it work are now suing the government for cancelling it, seeking a Judicial Review.
As Myles Jackman has already warned, had it been implemented it would almost certainly have led to suicides when data breaches happened.
This is the most brazen thing I've ever seen - "Where's our money?! I spent ages developing this tech to screw people over!" This absolutely must fail. These literal scumbags.
Here's a thought. At 11 p.m. on 31/1/20/20, you can longer turn to the Human Right court of appeal for a problem, in the UK, as they have no control.
Add the above comment, and Boris (bung-a-bob-for-Brexit) Johnson into the mix makes me shudder. Corbyn going was a start, now BJ (Boris Johnson - no, not Blow Job!) has to go too. Then we might have a fighting chance.
The fact the UK economy is obviously on its arse (no one speaks about that. Yet businesses are closing every day.) If the Gov gets control, I cannot see who would look after the data.
Meantime, here's a messy gif. Don't forget to vote GIMP at your next bi-election. (Gaylord Indepedant Male Party!)
