Here's a clip from a late 90s TV adaptation of Catherine Cookson's Tilly Trotter featuring the eponymous heroine being put into a pillory and pelted with rotten food. Not particularly erotic but an interesting "mainstream" example of this sort of thing and featuring a certain amount of verisimiltude (Yes, I did get a dictionary for Christmas).

Verisimilitude - likeness to the truth. Karl Popper. Remember that coming up at art school years ago.
What other site offers such intellectual fodder whilst still being encouraged to 'knock one out'? Nice one!
I LOVE this! I grew up in Massachusetts, not too far from Salem, and Lexington & Concord. I've always loved the humiliation of Colonial punishments, whether the Pillory, Stocks, Ducking Stool, Yokes, Scold's Bridle, Chastity Belts, etc!
And I love Colonial Ladies' outfits, especially long dresses with tight, low-cut bosoms that lift a lady's tits and push them out for the world to see!
The OP said that this clip is "not particularly erotic". I respectfully differ in that opinion! The way she is dressed, with food dripping off her, totally humiliated, (and being quite lovely on top of that), is VERY erotic to me!
This is fantastic, Lover of Messy Girls! Thanks so much for posting this!
I ran across this vid (below) of a willing young lady, very cute, with long-ish hair that falls in her face, and a lovely colonial outfit on, at a Ren-Faire. She is put in the Pillory and is "punished" by having water dumped on her. Even though it's acting, I love these kinds of vids!

To answer Norman's question, "Cruel Winter" (and also "Cruel Summer" and other variations on the theme) was a UK game show from around 2001 in which contestants could win 10,000 by doing various horrible tasks or being subjected to "punishment". Viewers could vote for contestants to receive "more punishment". More details in the link below.
