I was recently reading about the 'Multidimensional Scale of Sexuality'
It's a follow-up to the Kinsey Report - a post WW2 study of sexuality, by the British Government, which massively updated government models of human sexuality (for policy, law, etc).
The big update in the MSS is the acknowledgement that sexuality is not encompassed entirely by the physical body. As well as the material, people are also interested in emphemeral elements (like submission and domination or the full gamut of divine emotional attachments).
In addition, the MSS suggests that the hetero/homo divide is a very Christian construct - and contrasts it with the more libertine models of Ancient Rome & Greece, in which a partner's gender was a secondary consideration.
Some of those themes seem particularly relevant to the discussion on this site.
Yeah. As someone tormented by feelings of guilt and shame about my kinky side, I returned to scripture and catechism. I've scanned and studied and although I can find condemnation of eating shellfish and loads of stuff about fire and damnation...I can't find anything that forbids me from being locked in a Gunge tank or participating in a space-hopper pie fight with as many lads or lasses who want to join in. So I'm going to chance it!
I find there are times when I see imagery of a woman getting messy, and stripping nude and masturbating - but it might do absolutely nothing for me. Then another time a woman might only get partially messy and nothing sexual is happening, but it is a turn-on.
Without following the link or investigating further, I have to agree that 'sexuality' is different for each of us, and the 'vibes' a woman gives off determine whether it is sexual or not. We all like to see the woman's reaction to a mess, or her anticipation of it, and of course, squeals of either delight or horror when slime meets skin. These are the hidden things that matter, and very difficult to fake them or act them out if they are not occurring naturally.

Also - pies are funny ;D
Thanks for posting this. Having been raised and lived in an extremely repressed environment I am always interested in just how much reality there is out there that is denied. It took years for me to become aware that you own your sexuality and no matter how unusual it might be there really aren't a lot of rules about it.
