First up is SS126, featuring Katie, one of the all-time one-and-dones! In a thread last year, people were discussing their favorite SS models and Katie's name came up a LOT. Like, WAY more than your typical "girl who did one shoot and never came back" model. Not sure if it's that face.... or that body.... or that hair.... or her WAY-too-good-for-us acting talent... or all of the above?
Regardless, we were lucky to get her for four awesome scenes, ranging from your classic Intro, to the throwback gold bikini & "Piece Of Pie" setups, to a cinematic scene where Katie is smuggling pies (not drugs) and runs afoul of the Mexican police.... to the scene where she reclines in a lounge chair and we dump a ton of slime on her.

If you're gonna lose a model, might as well lose her to Ice Cube & Kevin Hart, right?? And if you never picked these up in 2013, now's the time!

Katie is one of my absolute favorites. She was just incredible in these scenes. Looking forward to seeing what they look like remastered.

Great to see - Katie is a huge favourite of mine. For me it's a combination of the body, that incredible hair, and then blue eyes. I am a sucker for a blue eyed brunette, and even more so when they're staring down the camera from under a load of pie cream.

Would be really great if the guy who ran Vidown could make the resolution a search filter, like he does for things like model name and other meta. It looks at first glance as if you've updated a whole bunch at the same time.

Second question - if we bought these at the time in 1280 do we get a download code for the higher res?

My goal is to have the ENTIRE HD Download Store available as 1080p. Not sure when I'll be able to finish that tho. For now, everything after SS175 is already 1080p, and everything from SS128 on back has been upgraded as well.


It's not automatic, but anyone can email me direct with your original address (or name) used to buy the original 720p clips. Then I can run a search, find your original orders, and send you new download codes for the upgrades.
Or if you're OK with waiting until the entire store is upgraded, then Soundguy will be able to reauthorize everything at once. (But don't ask him to do that now!)

Finally, when I say "remastered," it's really just upgrading the clips to a higher resolution and bitrate. But the scenes look the same otherwise, so you might not notice a huge difference.
TRUE remastering would require going back to the original camera files, tweaking the colors & brightness and so on, and then rendering the entire scene again. Which is a TON of work and just not worth the effort.
(I would like to tweak some scenes here & there over the years, especially the ones that look a little dark... or have the whites "blown out" so you you lose detail. But TBH a lot of those old clips still look pretty good? Even the SD ones??)

I bought a few anyway, including SS120. Gotta support your local pie movie producer!

I own a LOT of SS DVD's, but it seems there always volumes that kinda flew under my radar. I'll need to atone for that!

Oh man, whatever happened to those throwback days of the SlapstickStuff gold bikinis, baker skits, and the pinstripes, top hat, and tails? That was a golden age! [no pun intended]

I'm gonna guess the answer is "better sales for slingshots and fancy restaurant 'are you being served' skits these days." I guess this is a golden age too in some ways...

Are you being served? That's a thing? I'm intrigued.

I think I meant the whole "rude restaurant reviewer" thing that a few videos have done in the last few years. Model dresses up like a classy customer, is rude the waitstaff, and gets plastered with pies and such.

Soooo the pinstripe & tails skits are... mostly gone? In the last 10 years, I did one early one with Carrie, then the one with Morgan (from your pics), and finally Alex in SS146. After the Morgan and Alex skits sold worse than any of their other scenes, I decided to move on from that look.
But yeah, the "top hat & tails" will always remind me of the early, sillier days of SlapstickStuff. Good times!

The gold bikini still pops up once in a while tho! (Although I tend to use its partner, the Silver Bikini, just as often.) They do OK, depending on the model. Feels like the Taylor and Sydney ones did particularly well. But it's not a "go-to look" anymore for sure.

I still have a soft spot for baker skits. If I ever find the right pair of models, Krusty's Bakery is definitely making a return! (Wonder if Carrie is still available?! That poor girl did the baker look every time...)

Ahh, that's too bad. Those remind me of the real early days when I first got into Slapstickstuff. I think when I found the site, the latest release was SS36 with that pinstripe outfit, so that outfit is permanently what I associate with your work even 15 years later.

There was a great run of my favorite scenes with that look not long thereafter...SS39 scene 2, SS41 scene 3 with the great Toshia, SS46 scene 1, SS59 scene 2 with Jill and Danielle (one of my all-time faves from that era), SS61 scene 2 with Toshia again (SS61 might be my favorite SD volume for obvious reasons), SS64 scene 2 with Crystal (if SS61 isn't my favorite volume, 63-64 is), and the list goes on!


I'm glad to hear this! Your baker skits are always phenomenal, and you just can't beat that white bikini and chef's hat look. Scarlet doesn't seem to do many bikini scenes, but maybe her and a friend is she's still shooting with you? Not sure who's still in the regular model rotation....

I would definitely bring it back just for nostalgia's sake! Especially someone like Mya.... She'd absolutely rock that look. BUT I don't wanna return to the pinstripes and get a big collective "shrug" in return. (Already had that happen with the recent "Shelly Inequality" skits. People like inequality but they still don't care about Shelly at ALL.)

It's also hard to live up to Toshia in SS41 and SS61. She absolutely KILLED that look, which is probably why I used it with her throughout the years. Honestly I thought Jill's best pinstripe scene was SS84.... Her hamming it up with the tails and just getting BLASTED with pies while Jordan stays 100% clean? Good stuff.


Fingers crossed I can get it to happen!
But sadly not with Scarlet. She's already at three strikes:
1) won't do bikini (at the request of her husband)
2) won't even TELL her friends she shoots WAM (Cher was the one & only exception)
3) just had an awesome life event that's gonna take her out of the rotation for at least a year.

Speaking of bakery scenes, I formally nominate Rich to re-make the CLASSIC Ariel's Pie Shop in glorious HD. While there's tons of quality producers out there, I think Rich is the only one that can attract the hot models, refresh the screenplay and put the effort into the editing that this labor of love would entail. In my opinion, it's certainly been long enough that Rob Blaine's ghost would be honored by a re-do of his work of art. It would have to be completed with a blonde and brunette, stockings, skirts, long haired models (Blaine's favorite) and lots and lots of real pies. Again, Rich is probably the only one that could pull all this off knowing the hotness of the models required (it will be hard to surpass Cassandra's interpretation of Madame Dubois). That being said, he might have to recruit a new model or two because Blaine's was R rated and, despite the stunning beauty of someone like Scarlett, in order to fully honor Blaine's vision, the girls have to go nude. You just can't sit on a pie with panties on. I suspect, if Rich accepted this mission, sponsors would line up. I know I'd pay to see it live! "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour??? Who's with me???"

PieZone actually made a remake of Ariel's Pie Shop a couple of years back. Although it wasn't a complete remake, more like a "spiritual" remake since instead of pies, the video featured cakes.

Yeah, the same guy commissioned a similar scene with me, that was the SS218 Cake Fight with Victoria & Angie!
I'd like to do a straight-up remake at some point tho, if I find the right pair of models.
