Nice flashback to the bad old days of Fallon's "All Male WAM" Tonight Show. You know, when the stunts were two guys getting covered head to toe with slime in the "Models With Buckets" game. Or the one where Fallon and some golfer got pied for bad shots and the hot young actress was the one doing the pieing.
I guess he had that run of a few Pie Pod games where a female celeb got one pie, and people started to think it was an equal opportunity show. [Spoiler: It's not.]

I'm not so sure of that. Yes, males will get messy more often. But most actresses I know are game for just about anything. Jennifer Garner as an example. Amy Sedaris, Jada Pinkett Smith all got pied. Lindsay Lohan soaked twice with water. Anna Kendrick, Jody Foster and Paris Jackson got egged. Priyanka Chopra covered in paint.
That being said...I couldn't believe Reese WItherspoon only got....freakin' popcorn?
This isn't the first time she has had a near miss with WAM. A few years back she was on Ellen and dunked an audience member in slime, even though most other celebs took the plunge(though not in slime). Then the day before Fallon she was on Ellen and made some slime, but of course only got her hands dirty. Maybe one of these days she will get the sliming she deserves.

Yeah, but the one pie game I saw with a guy used more (and better) pies than ALL the ones you mentioned, put together. The "Models With Buckets" game was always two dudes from the audience, and always WAY messier than any celeb game I've seen.
Almost every current "attractive" male celeb has either gotten wet, or egged, or both.... Tom Cruise, Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, Zac Efron, and about 40 others. (And, of course, always playing against Fallon.)
The fact that a few female celebs have also agreed to get slightly messy just makes them outliers, not a trend.
The Latin version (Noches con Platanito?) was actually far better for getting females legit messy... But they've basically abandoned that too in 2017.
Things are so bad in mainstream WAM, people are gonna have to start supporting producers again.
