Hey gang, I discovered some photos on my hard drive that I never shared before today.

I look a bit skinny because, well, I was. I had lost a lot of muscle because a nagging injury kept me out of the gym for almost a year. I never shared these before today because I was unhappy with the way I looked and stressed because I thought I might not ever recover.

But to hell with all that!!

The body has an amazing ability to recover, and chiropractors who do soft tissue work are a godsend! (For those curious, my profile pic is the current state of things.)

This mess is a thick batch of flour batter (just flour and water) and a bucketful of xanthan gum mixed with water and green/blue food coloring. I love the thick, heavy, smooth feeling of the batter, and the slippery, slimy xanthan gum transforms the whole mess into an awesome lumpy slime. Someday I want to try something smoother like natrosol or stretchy like j-lube.

well you will have many volunteers if you ever want to try natrasol or jlube with someone else.
